Watched the st Helen’s game this morning and one player really stood out for me , he’s 32 , but gee we could do with him for 2 years . Mr LOMAX there 5/8 great kicking game good defender and throws a great pass , maybe he would come just to prove himself

Great player but I am pretty sure he has stated he has no interest in coming to the NRL. Bit like Roby (he had no desire to come to the NRL either) who is the Cameron Smith of the Super League.

I have just finished watching St Helen’s game and that Dodds looks alright. Lots of pointing, talking, waving his arms around and coordinating their attack. That’s what we need - someone who just runs the show - couldn’t care less if he never has a run but if he can it’s a bonus. He wants to come to the NRL but there aren’t many clubs looking for a half. Possibly raiders if Jack goes. We should have a crack - I know his boss said don’t come to tigers but this is the sort of stuff we are up against in our recruitment. People just laugh at us

Yep, tough position knowing when to come in or stay on your line.

So many centres and wingers freak out and rush in and only have eyes for one person. Toa v Walsh still gives me nightmares

I’d say possibly coz he might be starved outside our “dynamic “ centres.
Like Manu, get him closer to the action so he becomes the start not the finish of a line break.
No one else really looks like making breaks at present.
