Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

My brother is a lifelong Dragons fan & suggests that Hunt, for the talent that he is, overrides everyone in the spine he plays alongside. Says he doesn't let the other playmakers get involved.

My take is that the Dragons leave it all up to Hunt, but he's saying it's the other way around & doesn't let the others contribute enough.

For what it's worth.

Names include:
Corey Oates, Braidon Burns, Jayden Okunbor, Jake Averillo, Josh Reynolds, Jordan Rapana, Tesi Niu, Brian Kelly, Brad Parker, Ethan Bullemor, Kaeo Weekes, Dean Ieremia, George Jennings, Adam Pompey, Enari Tuala, Hymel Hunt, Brendan Elliot, Gehamat Shibasaki, Peta Hiku, Bailey Simonsson (CO 2024), Bryce Cartwright, Waqa Blake, Blake Taaffe, Dean Hawkins,Corey Allan, Daniel Tupou.
Unfortunately L most of those names won’t really excite any of us( well certainly me for one). Which I guess is the reason they’re off contract.

Former Roosters champion Mitchell Pearce has said he is open to returning to the NRL just weeks after declining an offer from the Tigers.

The 34-year-old is currently at Catalans Dragons following his three-year stint with the Newcastle Knights.

In an interview with SEN Radio, he confessed his interest in returning to Australia in the top grade to see out his career.

“I'm still open (to coming back), I'll wait and see what happens.

“Obviously the Tigers thing came up the other week and I declined on that, I was really grateful (it was) nice respect from the Tigers but I'm committed here for this season.

“I'm loyal to the club to try and win the comp this year but we'll wait and see what happens next year.

“Obviously (I'm) getting older so you get to appreciate every season you playing at this stage, you enjoy it, I still feel like I've got some footy in me, I'm committed fully to this season and I'll see what happens after that.”

At this stage no clubs are leading the chase for the ex-State of Origin representative, with interest from clubs uncertain.
Thanks for posting this

I was hoping that Papali'i was going to be that forward yesterday, but Isaiah got well and truly owned twice.
And if you hadn't noticed when the Goons played the Rorters after Topou went off those right-edge goons Suli & Sloane played havoc with the Rorters and only lost by a field goal.

They make it sound like he didn’t want to join WT at all, when the reality is he just didn’t want to join this year because his team might win the comp.
