The biggest rumour going around is Phil Rothfield leaving NRL 360 to play the lead role in the upcoming Sir Les Patterson biopic.

Excited by all of those young halves coming through (another one is Marc Tannous).Latu is first grade ready. I think as well that his rise through junior reps is rightly hyped up given he won Harold Matts player of the year as a 15 year old against 17 year olds. Galvin, Mason and Conti are all super talents, but they will take a little more time to come through the grades. Latu is playing NSW Cup and killing it as we speak.
it's all very interesting because we obviously need halves right now, but in a couple years, we'll have a plethora. if the club does in fact sign Latu, then we have him plus Conti, Mason, Large and Isdale all of age and ready for higher honours, which will make for a very nice problem to have. Galvin is an elite prospect as many people know but I think he will be a little later down the line as the club sees him as a backrower.
as for the ASSRL Champs, I'm fairly confident Galvin and Mason will lock up spots in the Schoolboys side. Conti being a year younger will likely be 12 months away from being named, but keep an eye on Sosefo Finau. I reckon he could come from the clouds to be named by the end of the tournament.
I sussed his twitter and it was dead 😆I've lost it now (too much of a boomer to find it again), he retweeted something about moving out of your comfort zone to help grow and knowing when it is time to move on.
Maybe I read too much into it 🤷♂️
Exactly , and the fact that they are meeting with the prospective ( future) coach as soon as he gets back from holidays suggests to me that it may be a done deal as has already been reported. Benji is a good communicator, if he wanted the two islander boys at the club then he would definitely sell them on it .. There is plenty of upside , Guildford boys could lead a concord resurgence and start a dynasty similar to Penrith ( if they are good enough) because with TDS and Feledy and Bula to work with , perhaps Trindall at Half and a forward pack with Hardheads Bateman, Ice , and Klemmer and Stefano then if the Fainu brothers want to play Football , they have all the ingredients to have a decade of success.. Benji can envision all this , he can lay it all out .. all that is needed is the brothers to buy in and Instead of a bus the Wests Tigers have a Lear Jet ✈️As others have noted Bennett hasn’t had a great success rate of late and he’s in Queensland.
In terms of us being a landing spot, yes absolutely. His brother is here, he’s got zero competition for a halves spot and we’ve got a massive forward pack to play behind.
He's deleted it already. He does that a bit..!I sussed his twitter and it was dead 😆
Murdoch crap , old Rupert is not content to ruin liberal democracy and the climate on his scorched earth way out the door, he is also trying to ruin Sports Journalism especially in Rugby League while he is at it .. just a pet project of hisThe discerning public know the truth. It doesn't seem to impact membership or popularity. Wests, Balmain and WTs are hugely popular and no matter how much mud is thrown at the club, it seems to have the opposite effect. Just dismiss it and they'll lose interest.
What's divisive about Hooper? As far as I can tell, nobody likes him!As was mentioned by Chad, it is obvious that FOX NRL has an agenda against the Tigers. Hooper is a divisive dirtbag who claims to support the club, which is a joke and the others are parasite journalists.
Certainly getting used to riding the emotions whenever we go through an attempt to recruit a talented player.I've been as excited as anyone with the possibility of signing Latu Fainu going by the media hype that he is one of the best talents to come through Harold Matts & SG Ball in the past however long and watching a couple of his NSW Cup games.
Then the disappointment sets in with the talk that he may not come to us at all with the Dolphins rumour (following the previous Titans & Dragons rumours).
Then I think, well maybe we already have 17-18yo halves who will turn out to be just as good if not better in Lachlan Galvin, Heath Mason & Alex Conti. Looking forward to the National Schools Champs starting this weekend to see what they can do!
Benji came out today and shut Pooper down, he is not going anywhere, but I wish Pooper wasWhat's divisive about Hooper? As far as I can tell, nobody likes him!
isn’t Madden already at the Broncos? how could they win his signatureA couple of Tigers snippets in the Courier Mail Sports Con column this afternoon:
The Wests Tigers distanced themselves from reports linking them to Sexton following Luke Brooks’ move to Manly.
The Broncos are set to stave off a poaching bid from the Dragons and Tigers to win the signature of rising playmaker Jock Madden.
The brothers weren't part of the rainbow controversy? To add More to your point,
Im getting really concerned about the possibility we are being screwed again,
those photo's we were shown were two photo's of misery personified, wheras you would expect a very satisfied smiley face if you had just been made a huge offer to secure your future????
But big question becomes why are they willing to take Brooks $750.000 who has done very little in our club for years and allow the best 18 year old in Rugby League to leave Manly.
You would think if this kid is as good as we are being told.
Manly would be keeping him and forgetting about loser Brooks.
This does not make a lot of sense, the only reason I can see for Manly to let him leave, is because they have an out of control kid that they just dont want in there club anymore.
Whats going on, is it going to be good news, or down the line the worst news we could possibly want.
Fingers Crossed Everyone.
Do you Michael "Mickey" Tannous .. ??Excited by all of those young halves coming through (another one is Marc Tannous).
I agree on Sosefo Finau - he has really come on this season & looks to be a real weapon on the edges.
Younger brother Marc, Balmain Harold Matts 5/8 & at National Schools Champs this coming week.Do you Michael "Mickey" Tannous .. ??
” don’t worry something always falls out of the trees”
succulentHow was dinner Misty?
Maybe it's Koala-matangi, not a half back, but I would take him.” don’t worry something always falls out of the trees”
Wests Tigers fans love putting the boot into local juniors who pour their heart & soul into the club, so he’s probably better going elsewhere.
