For that to work the Storm would need to want Nofoaluma.
Storm are stacked with backs, wingers especially. They don't want another. It is one of the reasons they are happy to let Olam go. They need forwards.
I dont want to lose Blore. I think we will ultimately prove to be the big losers if the trade goes ahead but throwing out suggestions such as Nofoaluma is living in a fantasy land.
Not at all mate and I think you've misinterpreted my response.
Any mail is good mail, it was more a commentary on the current state of player-movement limbo we're all in and nothing to do with the messenger at all.

Under the new rules clubs can promote 17yos to top 30 but can’t debut until 18yo. So we could promote him in ‘24 deoending when his birthday is & as you said @balmain boy debut him in ‘25 likely as a Centre or even a Winger the way he is growing now.
The other way to look at Olam is we have the opportunity to recruit one of the game's top 5 centres, all because he had an off year in '23 due to injury.
I recall him having a very good World Cup 12 months ago and then suffered a fractured forearm & groin injury in the pre-season. Both are hard to return to your best initially from especially groins which affect your power & lateral movement. He would have lost match conditioning too.
He missed the post-season internationals with a reported knee injury (no more detail) and who knows how long he has carried that.
If our medical team can ensure he overcomes all injuries & get a solid pre-season in, we could get an absolute steal!
Whatever happened to Logan Dillon? The hype around that kid is one of the reasons I can’t buy into any name that gets tossed around before they make their debut

A summary of the career stats for Justin Olam, a rugby league player who represented Papua New Guinea and PNG PM XIII, and also played for the Melbourne Storm and the Wests Tigers.

Olam is from Simbu Provence, we should sign him. That's the PNG Highlands and they are Strong as dudes there. Physically tough, strong dudes. Like "CARRY MY CAR " strong...
Melbourne a top 4 team who have guys like Warbrick coming through want to make room.
Do it. We see 1 off season and in that he equals our best in the back line (ok that ain't saying much).

I think Olam, or Ollie, because Tito is down with him, has a point to prove.
To the haters, tell me a back we have (not Bula) who is better than him?
I’m hearing crickets.
Blore has little chicken legs and is overrated. When I watch him I’m not underwhelmed or overwhelmed, I just feel whelmed. I didn’t even know you could be until I watched him play.
I’d given Melbourne Noffa too. Just because he is shit.
To answer your question we need address some variables. Are you asking who is better then Olam at his best, or who is better then what he dished up last year?
At his best, clearly no one comes close. On his last performance he plays State Cup for us.
You have to look at everything, and the fact is, he was being overlooked for two average centres, and when he got his chance he failed. That's the reality at the moment. We would all love Olam at his best, the question is, is that still in him?
For me it's a huge risk, I'm very concerned he is one of those players that lose it quickly. Those players never get it back.
All we can do is hope he gets to at least 80% of his best, then he will contribute in a positive way.
