I’m no fan of AJ, but he hardly warrants any more bile thrown at him than half the other players in the squad. I’m not sure why he cops the majority of it.

He’s an Origin player compared to the to the level of players in the Magpie side of 98 and 99.I have been a fan of Balmain and the Tigers for 40 years …
he would make an all time worst line up ..
he might not be the worst … but he is definitely in the 17..
He’d look like a star in the Magpie side of 98 and 99.
Every club has got to have depth players and they are the players that fans will never all agree on. We have too many of them - and most that move on have proven to be useful to other clubs because of their FG experience. Can think of many that have been bagged consistently on this forum who have contributed to much better squads than ours.
It’s hard to blame him. Blame the club for putting themselves in a position where players of his calibre are in the top 17. He’s a fringe first grader anywhere else. Here, he’s a regular starter. And given all the resources the club have, that’s on them.Every club has got to have depth players and they are the players that fans will never all agree on. Yeah, because our team sucks. Whose fault is that? Not his.“Depth player “ that played 19 games last year ..
he is on the market now for 2025 … interesting to see who will sign him

Its almost like Sheens had no better options 🤔Tim sheens picked him mostly every week …
guess that’s another reason why he is getting paid to do nothing this year
That's the point- we have plenty of players that retain FG positions because there are no better players to compete for them. Eisenhuth Cheekham both come to mind as players who got smashed on here and both went to stronger clubs and played plenty of FG off the bench and or in run on side when players were injured.“Depth player “ that played 19 games last year ..

You really think he’ll struggle to get a game in this squad? 😅let’s just see if Benji picks him …
Nope, they were pretty much the same level. That’s why they are fringe first graders elsewhere. Just like he’d be.Eisunhith and Cheekhan were much better players …

There is no basis for this comment. You are just hoping.yeah .. because Benji is smarter then Sheens
In your opinion.
