Knights having cap issues and need to offload some players.

Wouldn't mind one of the Saifiti's to potentially replace Stef and Frizell to replace Papali'i.

Staines comes in for a disproportionate amount of heat on this forum. Not perfect but as you say he is an NRL quality winger.

He is one guy who really has a go , he takes the dirty hit ups while a few of our guys just sit back , I would go fo another winger and bring Staines in to a centre spot closer to Luai next year , good ball to him and he could be a great centre as he is fast and has plenty ticker , Olam and Staines in centres
Turuva on one wing , bring in a new big body winger .
then add a tuff prop and back rower / Lock

Trent Barrett apparently not in future plans for Jason Ryles which means he will obviously be shown the door. Reckon Richo gets him in here for a bit of experience or steer clear of him?

Stay away, he has the kiss of death wherever he’s been and if his old teammate Ryles punted him then it should be duly noted by us.

Sullivan was digging in heels in thinking sezer wasnt going to be at the club, i expect he will
be gone in the offseason with us paying half his contract

Keep To’a and I would give Staines one last crack playing NRL as a winger before pulling the plug on him, but it seems like Benji has written him off already.
The rest of them can’t help us be any better in 2025 so we might as well offload them ASAP.

Toa seems to spend most of his time on the injured list, let him go.

Unfortunately that’s not what the Coaches & Trainers see each day and that’s all that really counts. More importantly what are we going to do to build a better Culture and a supportive one so we can see a new West Tigers evolve. Any positive Suggestions or ideas?

Agree with the cultural aspect but those aforementioned
guys like Tumeth, Sukkar & Co were already locked
in. My suggestion is sit tight, I just want to get through
this year. Luai's arrival and the buzz it will create around
the club and players will change things, I'm positive

After watching NSW Cup just now, I could write an essay but I couldn't be bothered.

In both NRL & Cup, we are playing dumb, simple skills go out the window, we are regularly stripped for numbers on one or both edges, our heads drop with few leaders, we go for Hollywood plays in both attack & defence, we've lost the playing for eachother mentality, we are weak in contact and decisions continually go against us.

It is so apparent our youngsters (aged 18-21) are not getting the development they need in all aspects of the game. Our coaching & player development systems need to be fixed asap before we lose a generation of talent, many of whom at the moment are losing confidence & morale.

Yes we can go on about players lacking effort, having low IQ, making stupid mistakes, but atm we are not giving them every chance to succeed with our coaching & development systems.

I don't usually rant but today's effort in NSW Cup was laughable and it shouldn't be.

And these are the players Richo and benji want to bring throw into 1st grade , god help us
