How do you know we’re not? And whose questions do Benji and Richo have to answer? Yours? Why are we showing no interest in Val Holmes? If he’s not on the radar, Benji and Richo have questions to answer.
Naive if you think penrith wouldn’t be frothing for Stef If they could fit him into the cap. If we are losing stef always, I’d rather give him to penrith to secure the To’a deal.Panthers are 1 of the smartest clubs in the comp & certainly wouldn’t be trading To’o the best winger in the comp for Stef… more realistically I think they would be wanting a half in return. Hypothetically, if Galvin behind the scenes is still saying he doesn’t want to sign an extension would anyone really be opposed to that trade? Would be a smart piece of business IMO & better then letting him leave for nothing in return. Would still be able to run Latu & Luai out for the future 🤷♂️
This isn’t any inside info just putting some pieces together that I think could be happening behind the scenes
Naive of you to think we are ‘giving’ him to anyone. Stef is a free agent & can do what he wants. If Penrith really wanted him they would have used the money from JFH leaving - he’s 0 trade bait at all. Panthers hold all the cards, they don’t have to release To’o to anyone - they will do what’s best for them which is more then likely a young gun half to replace Luai since they already got the McLean brothers that can slot into the wings next year.Naive if you think penrith wouldn’t be frothing for Stef If they could fit him into the cap. Not everybody knows the knickname of every single player so yeah, some people didn't know that...Do people really not know Bizza is Brian To'o?

Sorry but JFH was on $950k a season… you think they spent anything close to that on Papa??? He has played sh*t here for 2 years & will be on a bargain contractThey already spent the JFH money on Ice.
There was talk Penrith viewed Galvin as a replacement for Luai before Galvin had even laced a boot in first grade. A Galvin and To'o swap I'd be all for!Panthers are 1 of the smartest clubs in the comp & certainly wouldn’t be trading To’o the best winger in the comp for Stef… more realistically I think they would be wanting a half in return. Yea I agree, win for both sides really. Would just need Fainu to get his hamstring issues right + a good centre & it would be one of the best back lines in the comp IMOThere was talk Penrith viewed Galvin as a replacement for Luai before Galvin had even laced a boot in first grade. They covered what we were going to pay him which was I think 700k a seasonSorry but JFH was on $950k a season… you think they spent anything close to that on Papa??? He has played sh*t here for 2 years & will be on a bargain contract
No way we should give up Galvin. Future origin player, club captain (IMO) and one of the few in our current side with a competitive streak. These are the guys you keep to ensure a decent team of 17 can be put on the park next year and beyond. There was talk Penrith viewed Galvin as a replacement for Luai before Galvin had even laced a boot in first grade. Of course he'd say that, otherwise would be breaking contract rules.
No way that's happening. Richo mentioned having elite players on the Podcast yesterday. He spoke of Api,Luai and Galvin as being essential to us improving, he's not going to sacrifice Galvin for Too.Yea I agree, win for both sides really. Not against getting To'o but he and a bunch of backs won't work without some better piggy littles. There was talk Penrith viewed Galvin as a replacement for Luai before Galvin had even laced a boot in first grade. A Galvin and To'o swap I'd be all for!
I just can't imagine them letting to,o go you'd punt someone like Garner or Eisenhuth moving on one of your best, is the sort of braindead things we doBoth poor decisions.
Papali'i's deal for 2025 is reportedly $750k. Assuming that's right - and who knows, TBF - that's what he'll cost for next year as that's what he's contractually entitled to, regardless of how he's played the previous two years.Sorry but JFH was on $950k a season… you think they spent anything close to that on Papa??? Just the other day it was public that he has been told he can look at his options. Maybe that’s who Richo was being coy about. On the BSB, it was floated that the Tigers have Cory Horsborough ? First I have heard
Once again the idea that players are all on the same contract and all have equal value to other clubs. Garner and Eisenhuth will be on minimum salary or close to it, so there is literally zero value in releasing them unless they need the roster spot: they don't free up any cap room at all, as they have to be replaced by someone else on at least first grade minimum. If Penrith need to free up cap space they have to release someone who is making some actual money, not just a warm body. Personally I'd be surprised if they decided To'o was the most expendable but who else is on that roster, making decent coin and not vital to them? Yeo? Edwards? Cleary?I just can't imagine them letting to,o go you'd punt someone like Garner or Eisenhuth moving on one of your best, is the sort of braindead things we do
