The fact that Jeral Skelton had a down game, with a busted knee and still had 17 runs for 170 metres says something! Gonna be special with his go forward next year! 🔥

I take it back- you're right. He's also played 5/8.No he hasn’t … he has been at 6 the past few games at least…
BTW - The last player you were pushing for them to sign in the backline was Ravalava… only last month wasn’t it?… I hear he might be available…

Therefore, he's destined for the back row.
Yes- I suggested Ravalawa. But then we signed Skelton, kind of removing the 'big winger' I was calling for. Strangely I don't remember much of what you've posted outside of saying how much you hate this thread, despite constantly posting in it.
Rava needs a change in clubs looks staleWe've signed To'o apparently 🤣 who needs Ravalawa
A change of scenery could be what he needs to reproduce what he did in 2023.
Where else are we getting 21 tries and 149 metres per game from an outside back aside from To’o who would cost 4 times the money and it’s very unlikely Penrith will release him in any case,
Skelton had a shocker for the Bulldogs last week also, I don’t think we can bank on him to be our saviour, I line the idea of he and Ravakawa potentially fighting for a wing spot.
Last few starts I take your point, but if Ravalawa come at a small cost, I still think he’s worth the risk. When you back a racehorse … are you looking at how good they ran two years ago or their last few starts ?
Cool. Except Bird has been named in the centres this week, so he's moving further away from the forwards now?He is moving closer to the forwards … he will be there soon…exclusively
Never said I hated the thread old mate … you are obviously a fine judge of NRL talent though

Turuva is supposedly coming to play as a centre, but I have doubt he is up to it defensively.I think they are fine for wingers now… although ill make an exception for To’o

I had the same concerns, but watching him closely over his past few games he still looks to be quick enough over the first 10 or so metres and still looks to have good lateral movement when defending.we’ll see where he actually plays in the game …the last game of their season BTW
I’ll give you a tip for free… he aint getting any quicker next year

When you consider how many players we have that are turnstiles in defence as our right centre, he could be someone who could plug one hole for us defensively at right centre.
That is a concern, but both Flanno and Bird are big personalities, it wouldn’t take much for them to clash when results are not going to plan.I can’t agree about the lateral movement when defending …
If he is still such a good player …Explain to me why his mate Flanno who has coached him since he was a kid and won a premiership with him doesn’t want him anymore ? Do you think he knows him better than Benji?

I mean, it could be a salary thing, considering what Flanno paid for the other guy he coached as a kid & won a premiership, who is joining next season to play in the centres.I can’t agree about the lateral movement when defending …

I think he could be exceptional for us at right edge back row, just not for 80 minutes each game as I don’t think his body is up to it defensively. They still have two holes to fill in the forwards …I know you will have a laundry list ready of other names … but I suspect he is being pencilled in there for next year …

Based on Richo’s previous comments we still have at least 3 more signings to come.
3 more good signings could really re-shape our team and potentially catapult us into a season like the Bulldogs have had this year.
