I think that’s exactly why they need May gone. Need the spot and cap space plus May just happened to be let go on the same day Hunt was released.

Yep, and their captain who made racist remarks. Not to mention Brandon Smith and his issues, Leniu incident, Angus Crichton last off season etc etc. Roosters have always had a poor culture going back many years... They signed Ferguson after he got sacked, had both Carney and Pearce through their poor behaviour, Nate Myles and more white powder scandals than any other club. Difference is that their PR machine is one of the best, not to mention the heads of the most powerful media companies in this country are all Rooster season ticket holders.

And the old Captain Boyd he has alot of stories as well

Sullivan aint anywhere near that category,and he plays in a key position that is difficult to replace and he will be required at some stage

Agree. Also just hold fire on Sullivan as halves aren’t falling out of trees in the NRL. Sooner or later a team under pressure will take a punt on him for less contribution from us and ideally when we can do it for a player swap that fills one of our needs.

We would miss Luai for just 2 games if he makes origin. Don't forget, Cleary will be back next year, so the choices will be Luai, Moses and Cleary. All will be playing 7 for their clubs...It could very well be Cleary/Moses combo next year.

To think Sullivan will play 12 games in a 24 game season is hard to imagine. Fainu will get games and if we need another half, Jack Bird can fill in for a few games. Sullivan is really surplus in a big way. We can redirect the $200k towards the forward pack and get value for the team.

I think giving him $300 is why to much $200 is a better number , but I think like others on here that paying out the kids who will never make 1st grade is a better idea
