No journo will shit on the dogs while Gus is there. If JAC was at WTs when he failed his drugs test, our culture would be to blame. But no, its a nothing story at the dogs. Protected species."The Bulldogs have gone cold on Knights prop Leo Thompson, leaving three to four clubs battling it out for the star front-rower's signature".
Yeah right. Nobody wants 2 take their funny money,
Canterbury Bulldogs have missed ALL of their targets,
can the rugby league media start talking about that...
We're good 4 now. I think there is a possibility that
we free up spots this week, don't assume Sione is
promised 1st spot either if something comes up i.e.
Taylan May/gun 2nd rower he'll be signed up but
might have 2 wait a bit perhaps but he'll get re-signed.
I agree,it helps them save face and helps them delude their fansBulldogs seem to go “cold” on a lot of guys they initially go after and are red hot for ..
I think this change of heart seems to happen after the player tells them he has rejected their offer …

They’ve been signing players left and right for the last 4-5 years. Burton, JAC, Crichton, Kikau, Mahoney etc. I don’t think that story would fly.I wanna read a deep depth double page analysis
on how they've missed all their targets. And the
overall culture of the club with workplace bullying
& mid-season drug use. Laundys finances & Gus'
overeach may have something to do with it, I dunno.
Very good sleuthing lolBud Sullivan instagram deactivated, think announcement must be imminent

How good. Cowboys fans should love signing another tigers 2nd rower…John Bateman released from Wests Tigers to join Cowboys on two-year deal | Market Watch

John Bateman has played his last game for the Wests Tigers with the English International set to be released with two years remaining on his contract to join the Cowboys.
North Queensland management are poised to sign Bateman on a two-year deal for 2025 and 2026 that will be offset by the Wests Tigers paying a large portion of the deal.
Bateman’s exit from the Wests Tigers after two seasons and 32 first grade appearances has emerged in the wake of head coach Benji Marshall’s staunch denial of a reported rift between him and the English International.
Bateman had intended to resume training with the Wests Tigers at the conclusion of his annual leave in January.
However, the Cowboys are eager for Bateman to commence pre-season training as soon as possible in a bid to both acclimatise to the Townsville weather conditions, but also build a winning connection with his new teammates.
The Cowboys are firm believers the 31-year-old will add a much-needed toughness to their forward pack, while also proving a valuable mentor to the club’s talented batch of younger forwards including Heilum Luki, Reuben Cotter, Jeremiah Nanai and Griffin Neame.
South Sydney had been considering signing Bateman on the basis of his elite-level experience, hard-nosed mentality and likelihood that the Wests Tigers would contribute to a large portion of his salary.
However, those talks fell over, when the Cowboys showed serious interest.
Although contributing heavily to Bateman’s new contract at the Cowboys, his exit will allow the Wests Tigers to create an extra spot in their 2025 roster to promote one of several talented players into their top-30.
A pommy up in the heat & humidity of Townsville... that's gonna go well 😂John Bateman released from Wests Tigers to join Cowboys on two-year deal | Market Watch

Way too soon! We haven’t won any games yet. It’s all been talk and high expectations. Granted the recruitment this year has been great, but they still have to gel on the field where it counts. Been disappointed too many times to be too optimistic before a ball is kicked. We need to have a massive improvement in status as a club before any good players contemplate coming here for unders.Could be a player that actually /if/comes to us for under's.Is the tide turning or to soon yet?
