No but that’s not the point , if benji had not given him the chance he would still be playing nsw cup or lower, just saying he has crapes on the clubHas Galvin been dogging it on the field throughout that time?

It's about the future, Benjis motto is whatever is best for the team. Getting Latu in as soon as he is ready for his development in the long term is what's best for the team. No point in Luai and Galvin working on their combo's only for him to leave in 18 months and then needing to start again with Latu, just bite the bullet now. Latus D is top shelf it'll just be his combo with Luai and timing in game shall need work but it will come with time on the pitch.100% agree with this. The other thing no-one ever thinks of is how much dropping Galvin out of spite would piss off the rest of the squad. Players think differently about these things to fans: they know that people leave and that nine times out of 10 their colleagues are going to take the best offer on the table - whether they're playing with their mates or not. Dropping someone who most of the team seem to get on with and who they all know is talented would be a shocking decision for a squad that is for the first time in years showing some spirit and decent culture.
The interesting thing to me is how we use Fainu. If we'd kept Galvin I sincerely doubt we'd also have been able to keep Fainu, and in different circumstances he'd be wanting to start seeing some game time this season. Now he appears to be our best option in the long term, too. We also don't have a utility spot available as that is presumably TDS's for most of the season. There's actually a legit case that if Galvin's performances continue to be mediocre and Fainu can get and stay fit that he should be given a run of games. I don't envy Benji having to manage that.
I actually think Manly makes sense. Story comes out Brooks can leave. Turbo has 13 seconds of game time in him.I don't think he goes to either.
Parra are chasing Lykhan King togia extremely hard to replace Brown.
Manly have Joey Walsh who they have signed until 2028 plus Onitoni Large who can play in the halves.
I actually think Galvin has messed this up. His suitors are dropping quickly and I don't think he will get 1m at any other club.
If he wants to go to a “winning club”, and then follows that with an announcement he is joining the Eels on a monster deal, then you know it’s all about the money and his agent moving chess pieces. Parra aren’t going to win a comp anytime soon. Who know, west tigers might not either but they are a hell of a lot closer to it than Parra.Galvin is going to the eels or manly for sure . Either with Moses’ nephew or or his project team .
Latu is a better half . Galvin is a better athlete . I said it before Galvin will be the generational talent , probably at backrow . Latu will be the better half .
Who cares . We are extremely fortunate that we have the Fainus and they’re invested in the club.
For me , when Latu comes back Galvin goes to Reggie’s . There’s absolutely no reason to develop him any further . Latu is a better defender , he’s a calmer head, and he’s a better ball player .
He needs to pick up his energy around the ball , work on his kicking game ,and definitely needs to fix his issues with injuries but I always remember the fact that Latu , NOT GALVIN was the heir apparent in the halves .And if he was fit to go last year for round 1 , we would have been talking about Latu not Galvin . The real issue with all this , is we lost the Large brothers .
If I was the club I’d honestly refuse to deal with Moses . He’s a blight on the game .
While the club is in the running to make the finals- it absolutely is the point. No but that’s not the point , if benji had not given him the chance he would still be playing nsw cup or lower, just saying he has crapes on the club
Luai had already won 4 comps and played in 5 grandfinals with Penrith, he easily repaid the faith showed in him, he told them he wanted to be the lead in a team to see if he could do it, a new challenge. The upstart in our team has played 1 season and 6 games and already thinks he's too good to be playing for us after we put our faith in him. He hasn't repaid us he's run the first chance he got.Should Penrith have dropped Luai last year?
Penrith ? They were the ones mentioned a long time ago . Actually I don’t care haha . Whatever bro . I don’t actually rate him as a half if I’m being honest . He’s a baller , who right now best suits the halves, because he’s too small for the forwards .I don't think he goes to either.

Leaving us hanging @jrtiger haha. Keen to hear what might be cooking in the background!we'll be right son.
got a huge rumour coming 5pm tomorrow on the WTFCast.
Problem with this is…Siebs will be gone before too long as well. Guy can’t coach. Players don’t warm to him for whatever reason. Say what you want about Benj’s coaching chops, his players love him and it’s not because he cravenly chases their approval.I actually think Manly makes sense. Story comes out Brooks can leave. Turbo has 13 seconds of game time in him.
Walsh @ 7
Galvin @ 6
Large @ 1
With Seibs doing whatever Moses tells him to do.
How could that go wrong?
It only torpedoed the broncos where every single player , coach , executive, ball boy … got fired . It happened at the warriors ,it also happened here when we wouldn’t give him the control he wanted .I actually think Manly makes sense. Story comes out Brooks can leave. Turbo has 13 seconds of game time in him.

He hasn’t been lights out though IMO . He’s does a couple of good things a game and everyone goes oooooo ahhhh ! I’d be seriously looking hard at Latu come May .While the club is in the running to make the finals- it absolutely is the point.
You don't denegrate your chances of winning now until you know that season is a wash.
Don't get me wrong- if Latu outplays Galvin, you make the change regardless.
But if Galvin plays lights-out, dropping him does the club no favours at all.
Bula is the next cab of the rank with Isaac Moses... nextGalvin is going to the eels or manly for sure . Either with Moses’ nephew or or his project team .

See Joe Schmidt ( the Wallabies coach) on players signing to play overseas next year - you don't get piked for tje Lions matches which only come around about once in your professional career.Should Penrith have dropped Luai last year?
Is it a positive one for the club JR?we'll be right son.
