Here's my question, Galvin cant field offers till November 1, yet has already knocked back a 5.5 million dollar offer with no other offers. Even more funny he wanted to be released last year, to what sit at home and play playstation. Potentially lose Latu, what do we do once DCE goes, can't see Latu hanging around if we sign another half and shoehorn him ahead of Latu. If it eventuates, we need to have someone ready to step in once DCE retires if Latu leaves.

Would it be like that, though? Latu is not fit enough, as in his injuries. Do you think, if DCE were to come to us, Latu might be more than happy to be his understudy, learn from him, be eased into full-time halfback, like we're seeing with Api and TDS?

Probably explains the timing of the statement to make it clear that we will be moving in another direction as soon as possible and open up to any other suitors.
I know there are a lot of calls for Luai to go back to six but he won’t do that without an actual senior halfback alongside him.

I don’t think he is doing a good job at 7 , he is a much better player at 6

But more then that, Galvin is a Rookie. Yes he is "the next big thing" in amongst 15 other NRL next great big things... He will not surpass Mitchell Latrell or Kalyn Ponga.



For 1m a season we could bring in Adam Reynolds for a year or two to work with Luai, Reynolds would be just the kind of player we would want to help inspire Fainu and train him into a full time 7.
