I'm sure I heard signings will be announced in 2 to 3 weeks and players are from clubs with cap issues.

The team actually has good depth in a few positions (Hooker, Half and Wing). We have a heap of players in the squad who can play there, so I doubt AJ would be signed as that. It Is 2RF, Centre and Prop where we lack so I would say AJ would be used to cover that.

He never mentioned from clubs with cap issues, just said 2-3players from outside within 3 weeks

And he wants to stay. My view is this is a no brainer. We extend him now and then work out rotations over the coming 12-18mths. If he is good enough he will force Benji’s hand in starting him.

Try to sign a prop who can fill in a few weeks of NRL if needed. Same for an edge back rower

If the AJ Kepoa signing is true, it will be a while before he plays the recovery takes a long time after having surgery to remove your flippers and have donated hands attached.

You could be right but I think they are on a winner with Mark Nawaqanitawase, gee that guy has got some skills and is very powerful.

He is an excellent backup winger. He will be dirt cheap and fill a hole for us.

These are the exact signings we need - depth. Those are the only blokes we will sign for the rest of this year

Big signings will come next year

We don’t need more depth for the sake of depth. We need to be filling the gaps at the top which will then create the depth.

2nd rower and lock priority.

AJ isn’t any better than Staines or Faataape in my opinion. If he is back I hope it’s a state cup contract.
