Maybe no one wants to come here ?What good is a fee from a club we can’t use it in the cap , if we do release him we got to get a player

Maybe he is coming to the Tigers. That is why we don't fill all our positions until 30th June and play top 30 players short. We are saving funds to pay his wage next year. I knew there was some logical reason. We couldn't have been so dumb otherwise. Or could we?What's the chance DCE ends up at the Titans any ?
We all know how this works for us, we never get a player. This will end exactly how Moses camp planned from the start. Galvin gets his release, tigers get nothing. It’s how it always is.What good is a fee from a club we can’t use it in the cap , if we do release him we got to get a player
Here’s an idea. Maybe no club wants a bar of Taylan till he demonstrates a change in behaviour. If benji don’t sign Taylan then consider Terrell following Taylan to wherever he goes and losing both
You haven't been watching the games. It feels like every game he misses a one on one that leads directly to a tryI haven’t been his biggest fan but defensively he has been very good. This years stats wise he is up the top of the 1-1 tackles made v misses.
Maybe center is his spot after all (suggested that for years).
Do I think he is SOO rep quality heck no but he has clearly worked hard so good on him.
We know Richardson and Marshall control recruitment and retention. No information is getting out unless they want it out. No news is good news.
Brent Rwad on Triple M just stated Api’s manager is wanting confirmation if we are re-signing him past 2026 and says he believes we will offer him an extra 2-3 years and says that will likely mean we lose Da Silva, possibly an early release at the end of this year.
Api will be 33 while in the final year of his current contract in 2026, so if we extend him it means we are re-signing him as a 34-36 year old
Ready also thinks we will release Galvin before June 30 this season and does not think we will receive another player in return.
He also mentioned Adam Reynolds clearly wants to remain in Brisbane, that along with his recent dip in form meaning there is not much interest in him from Wests Tigers.
All this being said and done, do we think re-signing Api and losing Da Silva is the right decision? I know Api was great for us again last Sunday, but it’s not his attack that is the problem, he is a target for opposing teams defensively due to his lack of size and that will not get any easier as he gets older. As much as Api has been great for us, I would be prioritising Da Silva and letting an ageing Api sign with the Perth Bears.
Have they seen him play.Someone with a bye this week to run opposed I assume.
Haywood, never seen him play but everyone is raving about him.If they are actually negotiating with players than there is another possible source to talk to the media …. I don’t get why people don’t seem to understand this ..
Isn’t there another young hooker supposedly coming through the ranks ? This is the problem ..they are always looking ahead to the next guy …never worried enough about the present …it would be tragic to lose TDS now he is finally NRL ready but it has seemed they have been headed down this path since the Galvin thing blew up …
Up The Tiges.Sorry mate, I’m the original Claws & Claws 1 for many many years now. Go Weststigers!
Api should be retained at the club when he retires, in some capacity.
He's been an absolute star for us.
TDS should be retained also though.
Api to stay and help with development on and off the field.
Ideally, both can happen.
Ideally iof we can do this it would be great..I hope TDS sees the long term, bigger pictureApi should be retained at the club when he retires, in some capacity.

But who are we to ask someone to forego an opportunity now for something in the future that may not happen at all. Circumstances change and if he sees an opportunity then he should take it.Ideally iof we can do this it would be great..I hope TDS sees the long term, bigger picture
If we let TDS go to resign api at 34 we seriously have rocks in our head, his defence is getting considerably worse every year and he can’t regularly play 80 mins anymore. We should’ve be letting Galvin go without a player eitherBrent Rwad on Triple M just stated Api’s manager is wanting confirmation if we are re-signing him past 2026 and says he believes we will offer him an extra 2-3 years and says that will likely mean we lose Da Silva, possibly an early release at the end of this year.

a strong culture and leadership is what will drag this club out of the cellar. given Api's role up to this point and into the future of the rebuild, you don't disrespect a player of that calibre. If we let TDS go to resign api at 34 we seriously have rocks in our head, his defence is getting considerably worse every year and he can’t regularly play 80 mins anymore. We can only control the flow of information from our end. The club has improved its confidentiality enormously in relation to player signings and re-signings since Richardson's tenure commenced. That is all I can ask for and it has been done.If they are actually negotiating with players than there is another possible source to talk to the media …. I don’t get why people don’t seem to understand this ..
