I don’t buy that. Which first grade team does Latu stroll into as a halves player?
The Bears ? How old was Katoa when he joined the Dolphins ? the competition leaders just got a 19 yr old to replace Sexton

If he thinks he’s a franchise player already good luck to him.The Bears ? How old was Katoa when he joined the Dolphins ? the competition leaders just got a 19 yr old to replace Sexton
It's sickening, even Blocker commentating on the game is in love with Galvin now, this is starting to look like a life sentence.

So true but he plays the link man pretty well, not an individual standout talent. For all the hype ….he has still actually done very little
Confidence has to be two-ways. Bears could hardly mortgage the ranch on him based on what he’s put on tape. That could change back half of this year, hopefully he owns it.Nothing wrong with having a bit of confidence …. Latu actually looks fine when he is on the field … the issue is staying there ..is he made of glass or just been unlucky?

scouts from a number of clubs were waiting for latu to fall out of the tree if we resigned LGI don’t buy that. Which first grade team does Latu stroll into as a halves player?
No doubt. But would he be a walk up first grade starter. I’d say no.scouts from a number of clubs were waiting for latu to fall out of the tree if we resigned LG
have you seen the dragons halves ? haha diabolical . they’d build their whole club around the kid .No doubt. But would he be a walk up first grade starter. I’d say no.
Dad’s son isn’t going anywhere and they just signed another “future star”. They’d be looking for experience I would think.have you seen the dragons halves ? haha diabolical . they’d build their whole club around the kid .
I wasn't fussed he left same as your concerns especially pace to get through the gap, enter Latu, just the way it all went down like most of us on here found it on the nose.I still think his lack of pace is a concern ..he can see the gap at times but hasn’t got the zip to get through it …probably end up at 13 but can he increase his strength and size enough to be an elite player at that position ?
I think he’ll add size but stay in the halves. His ball play is his biggest strength and when he adds some bulk he’ll beat people one on one with power. Trent Barrett type player.I still think his lack of pace is a concern ..he can see the gap at times but hasn’t got the zip to get through it …probably end up at 13 but can he increase his strength and size enough to be an elite player at that position ?

I have no doubt Latu Fainu is ready to be an elite NRL 13, probably not for 80mins each week just yet, but if we are looking to get a quality 40-50mins out of him each week as a 13, I’m very confident he can deliver.I still think his lack of pace is a concern ..he can see the gap at times but hasn’t got the zip to get through it …probably end up at 13 but can he increase his strength and size enough to be an elite player at that position ?
Galvin's an elite talent who will likely be better than Sexton, but even then, it could turn out to be a mistake.then why is he getting replaced by a 19 year old while leading the competition… i don’t mind Toby but he is nothing special
