He’d love it.Yep she has got Hoppa pegged.😊
Noice. 👏👏Windsor Wolves signing.
Unfortunately he said, "show me the money."Swap Royce for Bunty... surely Benji can talk Royce into retiring... after all that's what he was contemplating before he signed with us....
Whatever you say Boss.Props are now the third highest paid position in the NRL, so it doesn't seem like the NRL clubs agree with the idea that Haas is the only one worth 1million.
Players worth are market driven, and good props are the hardest to find on the market. Thats why when good ones become available, teams are willing to overpay.
There are more fullbacks that make up the top 20 players than in any other position, but theres so many more good fullbacks. Teams are more likely to let good fullbacks because they're so easily replaceable (eg. Parra letting Gutho go to get Iongi on 300k). There are so many teams with 2-3 NRL level fullbacks. Hopoate, Fa'alogo, Fletcher Sharpe, RTS, Jye Gray, Chevy Stewart, Campbell, Brimson etc etc are all playing out of position or in reserve grade because of the quality. Good fullbacks are easy to come by, but good props are the hardest to come by. How many gun props of that type of quality are currently in reserve grade?
The idea that players leave the Tigers and immediately get better is such bullshit.A few of the 360 hacks cited Dane Laurie as another player to leave the Tigers and kick on. Really? He went backwards at Penrith. Same with Tupou at Redcliffe, Talau at Manly. None of them can crack first grade. Perhaps Tigers got it right in not busting their hump to keep some of these guys, despite the media beat up.
Possibly why there was a rumour they would be happy to release Murray?Interesting what this means for other juniors like Tavana, now there's seemingly no more Dev spots for 2026. All our Dev spots on forwards too
Do you know if he has played any of his juniors at fullback?I wonder if the club has any desire to develop Andrews as a 1...
whats your theoryRumour has it - Chris Flannery (no not the former Rooster) who similarly disappeared - was fed through a tree shredder
#JustSayin 🤷♂️
heard dce is leaving manly , but who knows@kade7 any news?
WTs Canberra Warriors basically owned the under 20;s comp , in the day , apart from Canberra only a hand full kicked on from there. People stamped there feet why is so n so let go. Fuzzy memory , but i went thru 5 years League magazines 2005?/2010? lower 3 grades of all those numbers Dogs had 12 of 17 players that were /progressed into 1st grade 5? years laterThe idea that players leave the Tigers and immediately get better is such bullshit.
There are a few who everybody basically knew were going to be good, left and then continued developing as expected - Moses is the obvious one, this is where Galvin and Utoikamanu will go if they realise their potential. Tedesco, clearly, though actually he was pretty amazing before he left.
Then there's the biggest group, which is players who were more or less the same. Some of them landed in a perfect place for their specific abilities (Garner, Blore), some got talked up largely because their failings were less significant at the new shop (Brooks, Papali'i, Luciano Leilua), many are exactly the same player just in a team that doesn't lose all the time (Liddle, Klemmer, Billy Walters). But none of them suddenly became world beaters - they just look better in a team that wins every so often.
There are a few hot prospects who never kicked on for anyone. Te Maire Martin and Jake Simpkin spring to mind but I'd love it if Galvin, Utoikamanu and Da Silva ended up in here.
My favourites are the ones who people say "just need a change of scenery" and then proceed to be just as shit, or worse, than they were at the Tigers. This is where you'll find your Daine Lauries, Moses Mbyes, Joe Ofanehgaues, Zane Musgroves, Oliver Gildarts, Josh Aoloiae and John Batemen.
They don't need him at all...heard dce is leaving manly , but who knows View attachment 26612
that might jeopardize his career in the media . Plum in the mouth speaking is better suited to rugby union , But hey 9 are persisting on changing the publics perception of Cameron Smith. Had my fingers crossed dce was inboundThey don't need him at all...
Maybe him here for 1 year to develop Latu might be a good investment.
Penrith’s talent ID is very good.Kayliss Fatialofa signed with the Panthers but backflipped back to the warriors after they gave him an improved offer
Gambling... or was he over at Cables?Brent Naden was at Penrith leagues club this week I wonder if he’s signing back there
Could not have said it better. The idea that players leave the Tigers and immediately get better is such bullshit.

His stats look very similar to Peter Taateo esp given Crosby playing in an almost unbeated team which makes a bench prop look better.Penrith’s talent ID is very good.
I wonder if that extra salary cap pressure for the warriors is a chance for us to get Toby Crosby. I have never seen him play but his background and metrics (in reserve grade) discussed on the WTF podcast made him sound like the next Payne Haas. I was sold, sight unseen!
