It’s never official until I get Richo’s email or they sign my hat. 😎

I was hoping we don’t pay overs for the Dream bcoz I reckon there is better fb’s coming through at other clubs than heath mason, and then we go and sign one.
Also shows we are trying to build some depth in positions we are shallow.

It was a mistake not to go for AFB, doubt we would have landed him. Yet if we did we would have missed one spoon and likely made the 8 this year.

I think the AFB comments at the time were more around Addin's perceived character more so than the value alone and whether or not Richo thought he was a good fit for a rebuilding club.

Mason and Will Craig are wasted spots. Both need to be moved on after 2026

Mason should be the 14 in cup imo.

I'm not ready to draw a line through him yet. His confidence seemed shot last year and that's as much an issue around how he was managed/coached last year. He probably should not have been anywhere near the NRL side.

He did initially hold his own at NRL level before being found out in a big way.

I think they saw the all the hard work Toby Sexton and also Mahoney did to get them where they were and the Coach and Gus sh1t all over it by signing Galvin and felt let down and disheartened

Throw in some other options, our cup team and depth is going to be an upgrade in 2026.

That's a decent-looking backup spine. Some experience and solid play in Madden and Hope, plus lots of upside with Andrews and Attard.

Mason will probably get the 14, but Haywood may be an option also
