Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Averillo is.
No chance Averillo goes to Super League, there will be a long line of NRLclubs wanting him and we should be doing something smart for a change, signing him and then offloading To’a.
I think when both at there best Toa is a better player. Problem is both at their worst Averillo is the better player. Neither of them are any good defensively. I think Averillo probably offers a good team more with his versatility and speed when put into space whereas Toa is probably a better option for a weaker club as he can create his own space outside less creative halves.
All in all, not much between them though I think Toa is a better fit here.

I love it when you impart your wisdom down on us all.

We finished 13th last year,
3 out of the 4 teams below us, Beat us,
And the 1 that didn't - Put 28 points on us and probably should have.

How's the Keppie fixing that?

When the starting team is as far behind the good teams in the Comp as ours is.
Infinite Bench Plodders aren't going to help.

I can hear it now, Every NRL team needs A Shaun Keppie,
And an Alex Twal,
and an Alex Seyfarth,
and a Royce Hunt,
and a Tony Sukkar.....
I hope you eat your words about big Roycey
Averillo would be a handy squad member in my opinion. However I’d rather a guy who can play dh for 20 mins and tackles well as a middle. Cam Mciines type would be good.
Latu fill in at dh?

Almost all journos and betting agencies have us in 14th spot again for next year. Our for and against was poor this year - for 477, against 612.

Until we fix our defence, it’ll continue to be the same old story.

I hope Richo and Benji have a tiger up their sleeve, because our new recruits are depth players at best.

Well he did warn them in Terrells vlog when you come into pre season prepared to be flogged, improved fitness first step to better attitude in defense if your fit enough to continuely keep turning up for each other.

That’s probably where Canberra was predicted last season …🤔

The Tigers will thus need to finish ahead of Manly, Nth Qld, Parra and Souths to be knocking on the door of the 8 …it’s not an impossibilty.. but they will need to improve on last year…with the only real change to the starting team thus far as KPP

No one predicted the Wahs or Raiders to finish where they did. Going to be hard to make the 8. I can see the bulldogs and raiders sliding out. Storm, Sharks (easy draw year in year out), Riff and Broncos all a lock for finals before a ball is kick
