Nobody is paying a 33y.o turning 34y.o winger who has not played fullback for more than 3 years anymore than 400k maximum and that’s being generous. How much do you think we'd need to offer RTS compared to Bula?
And we have that ex Penrith Junior Fullback they had high hopes for - Jack AttardDisagree if it is a short term deal for Tavana and Brookes to develop
He's towards the end of his career and fullback is a demanding position, why would Benji even consider it.Nobody is paying a 33y.o turning 34y.o winger who has not played fullback for more than 3 years anymore than 400k maximum and that’s being generous.
If we do lose Bula and not sign an adequate replacement, I would say RTS would then become a handy player to have while we search for our long term fullback whether that be internal or external. He's towards the end of his career and fullback is a demanding position, why would Benji even consider it.

RTS is on $650k at the Warriors. Seems low so I'd suggest it'd have to be more than that but maybe not as much as Bula...How much do you think we'd need to offer RTS compared to Bula?
If the need arises, hopefully he is bros with Bunty!RTS is on $650k at the Warriors. Seems low so I'd suggest it'd have to be more than that but maybe not as much as Bula...
Not for me mate, done with players coming across at the end of their careers. If we do lose Bula and not sign an adequate replacement, I would say RTS would then become a handy player to have while we search for our long term fullback whether that be internal or external.
Providing we are not paying him more than 400k and Turuva to fullback and RTS on the wing could even be an option.
It would not be the perfect outcome, but it could be a lot worse.
RTS currently third choice fullback at the Warriors. Was brilliant at his best, but that was a while ago nowYeah I don’t see it as big of a loss
Besides with RTS off contract, you would think Benji and the boys might have some sort of connection there
RTS 1-2 year to plug the gap until we sort the issue
We have ample fullbacks coming through, along with others coming off contract
To be honest if we could get RTS, I would let Bula walk
You could not seriously consider paying that much for a 33y.o turning 34y.o who has not played fullback in many years.RTS is on $650k at the Warriors. Seems low so I'd suggest it'd have to be more than that but maybe not as much as Bula...
He should fit in quite well then. 🤣Drinkwater is pathetic. Never seen someone with worse defense
No mate, I was just trying to point out that Gould wasn't involved with the Bulldogs while Pay was coaching them. I forgot to put in Pay's coaching period, which was 2018, 2019, and part of 2020. To say Gould was involved in his sacking is merely conjecture in my opinion, as around that time, he was a consultant for the Warriors. Please forgive me.Pay got hosed over when he was coach … did you just google his playing career … many of us remember that little period of time .

I very much doubt anyone will offer him above 400k
Anabolic steroids can cause "roid rage," a condition characterized by intense, unprovoked aggression, violent outbursts, and increased impulsiveness. These mood changes, which can lead to extreme violence, are particularly severe in adolescents and can persist even after stopping the drug. Underlying personality disorders often heighten these effects.Someone on this forum posted that Xerri grabbed Crichton by the throat at training.
Without knowing the truth, that sounds like a more likely reason he is in this position as the Bulldogs are always going to back their golden boy.
If this did happen, sure it’s out of order, but Crichton does come across as very arrogant.
I know he and Luai are mates, but thankfully for us, Luai has a much better demeanour about him and after publically backing Galvin, I wonder if Luai and Crichton are as close as they once were ?

Please note the bolded sections and understand that I am not accusing Xerri of grabbing Crichton by the throat or even of currently using steroids.
We need a quality centre / winger and he would be a great fit there. If the need arises, hopefully he is bros with Bunty!
