Did anyone think that first try to thee Rooters was anything other than a
Knockon ? if tigers got it,
Then 1000 of 1000 it would be just that, a knockon,

i like your longevity bonuses,PVL stated that the Dolphins as it ended up ,or any team entering the NRL under his watch ,will not get a dispensation ,heritage olde times for teams that forged this game blah blah , Its ok to change tact , do as afl do ,plz be honest with the true life blood of the game, us commoners that are looking to stretch the family budget to go to the footy

Perth is a totally different Market to QLD and the Dolphins I think they should have some help with travel cost and even some family traveling payments I think Perth is more important to the long term future of the game then PNG I think they now have a local first grade comp with 12 or 14 teams with NZ and south Africa's playing in it in 5 years time with some help it could start producing NRL players

Im 40km from Perth City and was looking forward to seeing some NRL regularly. The team won't get out of the bottom 4 ATM. Especially with Meninga coaching. NRL leadership just got too greedy.

Similar in way of height, size and playing style to Will Penisini.
Not overly tall and not overly fast, but powerfully built and plays very aggressively.
He is currently our best emerging centre prospect aside from Makasini in my opinion.

I doubt we'd engage yet with Smoothy until we give Tristan Hope every chance. If Hope doesn't meet Benji's expectations over the coming weeks, then perhaps.

Tyson Smoothy is an interesting proposition as he is an NRL Grand Final winner who played very well throughout the 2025 finals series including the GF.
He is a very good defender with versatility to play as a running forward, but like any signing it would come down to cost and I would imagine some teams who are currently more desperate than us would be willing to pay him more than we would.

That’s a bold question
