It’s not helping the Broncos much, we are in front of them on the ladder.
If we don’t have any scouts, where are we getting the intel on the young players we are recently signing from Qld and NZ ?

You can be entitled to your beliefs and also be a bigot. Not illegal to be a bigot. Defined as "utterly intolerant of those who possess different beliefs, backgrounds, or ways of life".

It's one thing he doesn't like homosexuality, it's another thing again to go around posting on social media about it. "Hell awaits you!"

Apparently we have one of the biggest nurserys in the game, but our pathway systems are trash. All we have to show for it is Douhei and Makasini.. the Laulillis are leaving and Seyfarth isnt starting. Tedesco, Moses, JAC, Woods, Pappenhauyzen, Fifita, Koribete.. all crap players the club didnt need. How in the hell did we let Cooper Clarke slip through the cracks? And isnt Alex conti a junior too?

Meanwhile at Penrith, I think almost 20 of the top 30 come from their junior pathways - thats not including the dozens of players they have lost the last 5 years.

Look at the crop of forwards the stgeorge Illawarra system is bringing through. Coachman's x 2, Stewart, Egan, Loko..

The Wests Tigers must be really unlucky?

Dropping a heavy label like "hateful bigot" completely nukes any chance of a productive conversation. It’s the ultimate irony....trying to oppose a view you find hostile by immediately escalating to maximum hostility.

Be kind...even to those you disagree with. And don't be woke...it makes you weak. Doesn't get you laid and makes men needlessly emotional. An emotional man is an erratic and dangerous man. Don't get thrown off centre so easily.

This is not about gay people. This is about how you've reacted to an instagram post, from someone you don't know because you don't agree with it. Newsflash...if you talk to someone long enough, you'll find things you don't agree with..some of it abhorrent. It shouldn't make you so upset.

You obviously don’t watch too many videos of our team officials speaking because if you did you would know who made the comment that he does not believe in spending much money on pathways players.
I’m guessing that way of thinking no longer exists, but unfortunately we lost a lot of good emerging talent in the process.

Players fall into the clubs lap because they are kids in school who generally arent going to travel to other regions. You dont need to invest trillions of dollars in pathways, all we have to do is identify the good ones and not stuff it up.

But we cant even manage that.

If a rival NRL club offers some of our best up and coming players a lot more money than what we are willing to pay them, the chances are very high they will make the move.
It was not even a secret that our approach over the past few years was to let them walk as we were not willing to match rival offers to keep them.
This meant the only up and coming players we could realistically keep and fend off rival offers were the ones we were putting on Development contracts or top 30 contracts.
No idea how anyone can state we are a development club when that is your thought process ?

I agree with pretty much everything you said there, but the hatred of "woke" is just nonsense. There's nothing wrong with being woke, it means you care about people and injustices in the world.

I was thinking about this the other day.

It took Penrith years to build that pathway and with all the changes we've had, our pathways haven't been consistent.

We've also been tending to lose our better ones a year or 2 after we give them NRL experience.

Makasini and Bula have shown some faith by extending. I think we have a good crop coming up with Logan Brookes, Haywood etc. But they will need another few years.

We just need to persist and get better in that area.

Why can they pay them more? Are the owners not giving us enough money to retain our top talent?

It's always someone else's fault.

Moses and Tedesco are nobodies who have done nothing in the game. Those guys leaving had nothing to do with the club being a basket case 😂😂

You obviously didn’t watch the video where this information come from the horses mouth, so it’s no point continuing this conversation.
The comment was that we have previously wasted far too much money on unproven young players and a decision was made to no longer do that as far too much money gets wasted and they are staying for the wrong seasons if it’s all about money.
I can tell you it’s very necessary as money talks and you cannot fit every young player with plenty of potential on a Development or Top 30 contract.
Stupidity at its finest.

We don't have Shannon do we?

I thought Woods wasn't really attached to the club, although remembered as a Tiger.
Does Woods really do scouting for us? He's too busy gasbagging on Radio

I don't hate anyone or anything...ok...maybe I hate coconut cake and sardines...

i think people are either lost or found. In need of guidance or givers of guidance.
