Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The point has nothing to do with Galvin, it's the fact the key People Benji has built the team and culture around have caused our demise 2 years in a row.

If Benji wants to make all the big boy decisions then he needs to wear the big boy consequences....
Players leave clubs, they have to be able to handle the adversity of it and move on. We’ve never been able to even before Benji

If anyone has wondered where Elijah Mataale ended up this season, he has been plying his trade for the top of the table St Mary's Saints in the Sydney Shield competition.

Mataale was a vital middle forward in our Jersey Flegg team last year earning a pre-Christmas train-and-trial deal with the NRL team. Not sure what happened.
Lack of effort on his side.

Quote from Katoa: How refreshing.....I wish our guys felt this way!

“I’m completely happy here,” Katoa said.

“To be honest, I’ve got no aspirations to leave the Dolphins.

“I owe this club everything.

“I know there’s other clubs out there and opportunities, but the Dolphins gave me an opportunity straight out of high school to come and live out my dreams.

“My biggest goal is to repay this club.

“I know the biggest way to repay them is with a championship.

“So I’m not looking to go anywhere else ... hopefully I can win a premiership here.”
Now that is a player I can respect!

They were contracted players that he selected/ selects in the position that they play that's what a coach does - selects the team from the contracted players that are available to him. Given the make up of our squad can guarantee that Galvin - also selected at current club in key position ahead of others - and Luai also paid 1,2 mill as marquee player for PNG - would be selected by 99% of coaches.
So not sure what relevance your "big boy" dig is all about.

So Benji doesn't set the culture for the team ? Benji doesn't pick the lead ship group and captain of the team ?

Benji doesn't basically have full control of football operations and recruitment ?

The point is simple so simple I'm surprised you can't comprehend it.

If you want full control which he has then you take full responsibility......

I’m sorry, but this is cope. Their injuries aren’t the reason we are conceding 50 and 60 points, basically just showing zero resistance. Issues are way deeper than a couple of injuries, and deep down you know that.
Pretty obvious imo the dressing room is a warzone atm. Seems theres massive division. Biggest problem we have and Shaun confirmed the season derailed when our leader signed with P.N.G and blokes stopped listening to him. Half the guys want him to play the other half want him to go. After what Doueihi did we have the exact same problem next year. The half that want Luai to play want Doueihi gone, the half that want Luai gone want Doueihi to play. Its a complete shamozzle. If Benji had any balls both Doueihi and Luai would be already out the door. Put kids in were getting pumped by 50 anyway.

KPP was one of our best in the early rounds no doubt. But the jury is out on the affect he could have had over the second half of the season when you look at how some other players have fallen away.
