I think he’s a good depth signing . I don’t get the issue at all . The starting lineup is all but set re. Bula Masi may averillo turuva . Whether you agree or not . Then it’s by my reckoning mason/new kid from dogs/attard , tavana Saukuru Herbert Schiller . I don’t really get what the argument is about to be honest

The argument being do they need all of it, a smart head would put surplus away for the future, resulting in less tax going to the government.

Surely the players manager would be advising this, earning his take out.

I havent seen Much of Schiller lately, last couple a years I think...I rememeber watching him when he hit first grade and thinking he seemed pretty good, not sure on his defense but then Skeltons defense wasnt the best either
What we lose in Skeltons set starts and brute force running the ball I guess we gain in Schillers speed, which is an area weve really lacked for long time

Skelton played half the season this year. 13 games. So, being a like for like replacement, Schiller would see a fair bit of first grade. Sure, he might not start, but he would be in the mix every single week.

You know what, the people who never ever suggest a potential signing, really should not comment in the Rumoured Signings and Discussions thread and certainly should not get upset when players suggested within this thread are being discussed or signed by the club itself.

Some of our supporters expect superstars as fringe players, obviously not understanding there is a Salary Cap to work with and not understanding the need for speed and line breaking ability within our team.

Plus he can play more then 1 position which is a bonus

Remember seeing Trevor play for Balmain in the mid seventies. Very solid player

Stacking up Fringeys is great - But the reality is,
We went into this season with 1 First Grade Winger (Depending on the rating of Turuva)
And probably the same the year before to be fair.

Surely a Salary Cap affords us (at least) 2 Starting Wingers without question?

People arguing here about which Fringey is better than the Fringey we lost or still have
are really missing the point.

I like Schiller (Said that already) Great for Depth - Not one to pin hopes of a turnaround on.
But we have plenty of Depth and prospects in OB's, We need genuine proven 1st Graders.
