Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Storm have been the recipients of the triple whammy..
Long term injuries and retirements of several world class players
A discerningly rapid aging of their halves..again both world class players.Theyre not finished, but not what they once were(particularly Munster RWC will reveal if he still has it)
Changing speed of the game. Wrestle etc..and like us,they are not a fast team in outside backs
Think their window has closed

If they lose Harry that will destroy them I reckon. Don’t think they will though.

Plus. Bellamy is on the way out. He’s been a year to year proposition for the last decade, but he’s never really been in a position where he was going to stand down. But now with his illness, he wouldn’t have long left. You have to wonder if that’s had an affect on them too. Who knows how it’s affected his ability to communicate the way he always has.

Good point, could be a potential player exodus because he’s finishing up

I believe his wife opened a business so I would not want to leave of your trying to build it
Been a good player for us, especially this year prior to his injury

Happy for him to see his contract out and hopefully he can stay healthy and provide some impact for us

Well...hes on a one year contract...options for both parties to extend
Id be astonished if his wife walked away from a viable ongoing business and an established home and lifestyle in Newcastle

Keep hearing about this successful business.
Sussed it out... lol

Another overpriced, ordinary clothing brand, charging $90 for a t-shirt.
I buy a dozen tee shirts for $90.!Blocker and Sirro guided me to Lowes...!
But to the point, once ensconced in Newcastle as they are in a nice house at half Sydney $$,its really hard to move to Syd long term
Will see what we get out of him next year
Not a terrible signing at all..but wish we had added some young established first graders in our recruit mix..like other teams at the bottom of the table are doing. We seem to be just propping up the existing mediocrity with worn out 1st graders..this will be Frizells 17th season
Wld be wonderful to develop the galaxy of junior talent in our backyard ,but beyond the capability of current coaching and pathways management it seems

Watched Dunster and Schuster at Lidcombe one game. Both did not impress.
Both short of a gallop though.
Need a lot of improvement to get to NRL level. Fingers are crossed on these 2 but not holding my breath.
A whole nrl off season will go a long way to determining this . It will be up to them I guess . Put in , eat right , train hard , pay attention and there’s an nrl contract in your horizon . And in Schusters case , a really low chance of nrl stardom . Don’t put in and it’s driving forklifts for Linfox . Not that there’s anything wrong with that .

Could Schuster play lock ?
