Don't know if this has been mentioned but along with a couple of other teams we are showing interest in young Titans prop Morgan Boyle, goes alright too apparently.

If we get alex johnston and lolohea that would be amazing. We will have 2 fast players who can play fullback wing and centre. We have depth and we have competition for spots. Its what we need to push players to the next level.

If the rumour is true (which I have doubts about), I am happy with the possibility of having Johnston join the Tigers. He is big and strong and can find his way to the try line but, I agree, he should only be considered for the wing. Johnston and Nofo, with Tui the fullback, would make a handy back three.

I dont want Alex Johnson as our fullback.

Heard he only wants to leave south becaus they won't give him the fullback spot that he wants. Not happy on the wing.

He's a genuine finisher but I don't rate him as a fullback, he's a stop gap option. As a winger he's pretty decent though and we could certainly do with some extra speed out wide.

I would prefer someone experienced at the back for a year or two …. like Gordon.
Gives his 100% and is a great goal kicker.
Likes of Lolo and Johnston should fill centre and wing and we can see if they make transition to the fullback in the longer term.
If signed .... Greg Eastwood, Mahe Fonua and Corey Thompson are good experienced back up players ..... something we are sadly missing this year.

After watching the game tonight, we definitely need to get a starting second row. Joel Edwards is not a first grade player and without Chris Lawrence they are week.CHN would probably the most realististc option as he is young, cheap and is a goal-kicker. Asofa-Solomona is a long shot as he is probably getting a big pay-day and is most likely staying with the Storm. We are gonna also need better outside backs. Naiquama is decent but is getting old and Watene-Zelezniak had too many mistakes during the game. Fonua is a close to signing with us which would be an upgrade on Idris, and rumours are swirling around Hopoate not being wanted in Belmore for 2018\. Could he possibly come to the Tigers?

He is looking to change the culture honestly to me it's a 3 or 4 year process. Get the right veterans in build a culture play regular finals footy sign a couple of stars.
