Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Ivan has the upper hand in any dealings with the doggies - simple strategy is Josh Jackson or walk away. A little bit of ruthlessness goes a long way. Stick it to Dessie because they created their own mess.

Not sure how likely this is but rumour that the Tigers are making a play for James Graham given the negotiations with Dragons haven't neesecarily deaded the right way and its close to home and his good mate Josh Reynolds is on the bus. We have 2 spots left so who knows

If we do to the Dogs what Souffs did to us with Farah… I'd take him

Addo-Carr re-commits to the Storm also.

I thought he signed a 3 year deal last year.

Extended it to 2021

So much for his dream of being close to family and wanting to play with the Tigers! On field success can change a person's mind so quickly.

This guy is our biggest loss ever, especially seeing that a tall, speedy winger is what we lack most. He was always gonna be a star, anyone with half an idea about rugby league could see that. It's just such a shame that our loss is Melbourne's gain - a team that really doesn't need any extra help to be successful. Still, kudos to them for recognising, nurturing and using the talent, while we were ignoring it.

We weren't ignoring it. Pascoe asked his manager to hold off on signing anything till he got back from a trip. The manager didn't. Then JAC wanted to stay after he had signed.

Why sign then?
Good player but good riddance

Agreed JAC was a huge loss, as was Koro. We lack any semblance of pace In the backs next year and our recruitment staff need to work overtime to identify and recruit young backs who are genuinely quick for next season. On a positive note, Heath Gibbs scored two good tries against the Raiders ad is apparently in form. If the Knights make the finals In the U20s, watching out two young recruits play will be interesting.

JAC was a massive loss, but he's a winger. Wingers don't generally win you games (they can lose them though). He wouldn't make my top 5 biggest losses.

I'd much rather have someone like Fifita back than JAC or Koro.

How many times do we need to repeat the scenario GNR - Some people on here want to believe that we let him go. They can't handle the truth!!!!

I think its been proven with Woods how easily players can be influenced if you stroke their ego. Least with JAC though, he hasn't lived to regret such a big decision. And he made it in about 1/3rd of the time too.

Just spoke with Josh Reynolds asked him about Jackson coming to the Tigers he had a little laugh and said he doesn't think so and also said the dogs would be crazy to let him go

The unthinkable is looking more possible
Surely not?

But hey, this is rugby league remember, where this is smoke there is fire.

In a decision that would leave Penrith fans reeling and the Wests Tigers faithful cheering, Matt Moylan is at the centre of a discussion that would result in the Panthers skipper leaving the club.

The whispers suggest Penrith officials are over the salary cap for 2018 and 2019 and would entertain the prospect of letting a player go to ease the pressure.

And with rookie fullback Dylan Edwards making the no.1 jumper his own, Nathan Cleary at home in the number seven and rising star Tyrone May handling his call-up for Moylan at pivot with ease, it's the NSW Origin star's name that has emerged out of the Tigers camp.

With big-money player James Tedesco bound for the Roosters, the Tigers not only have cash they also have a vacant fullback spot .
