NOTE: There are a stack of options in the outside backs department. For us, Marsters has retained the centre spot, ending the year in the number three jersey on a consistent basis. Taane Milne is a more recognised centre than recruits Mahe Fonua, Corey Thompson and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak. Fijian skipper Kevin Naiqama has his name on the wing. Tui Lolohea pushes to fullback with Josh Reynolds' arrival.**

I actually reckon they got the whole team correct except for the bench. I feel Cleary will keep faith in Kev on the wing in front of Mahe and MWZ. But for me Suli needs to be there somewhere whether it be on the wing replacing Kev or in the centres. Hooker i think he will start with Matt Mcllwrick rather than Liddle, just a hunch of mine. The bench should be:

16\. Aloiai
17\. Sue

I think that's everyones opinion. If Aloiai can almost destroy the Roosters single-handedly then he must be a walk up to the 17\. Having Rochow start over him would be crazy. Speaking of Rochow, where is he?

Exactly a must for me too .. points 1,3 & 4 … We DONT need two hookers in the 17, when you have Elijah Taylor in the squad who can back up number 9.
 
Liddle has to be the nine in my opinion - what you do with MM - ? - as long as he is not on the bench.

It would be a wasted spot, that the utility should have.

That utility is Benji imho.

Not too bad but i think suli in the centres and fonua on the wing.

More chance of suli setting up an opportunity for a blockbusting winger than fonua creating an opportunity for suli

I don't know what Fonua has done to warrant a start or for that matter what Kev has done wrong. Fonua to ISP and perhaps he will surprise. Suli to centre.

I agree, my argument is Kevvy hasnt done anything wrong to be dropped to ISP

He is proving to be quite a player in the World Cup and easily a slot in for Fullback

I think Marsters is being trained for the backline and Suli has to be playing centre. I also don't see a lot of Sue in anyones teams. I think there are too many workhorses in that team. Maybe swap one out for an impact forward.
 
I think we need another back-up fullback before the season starts. A promising up-and-comer just incase Lolo doesn't kick on.
 
Yep Tacky if It doesn’t look like we’ll land a marque player…which is probably the case. Then a young up and coming fullback would be a good signing. WTs would be a good place for that type of player to maybe get an opportunity .
