Well in Farah's defence he's only had 4 games influence and two of those were good wins, 2 ordinary losses.
Benji has played in all of our wins and 7 of our losses - i.e. we've lost the 3 games where he didn't play. So Benji himself is 50% wins.
I don't think it's specifically related to them and their age.
You're right, they certainly didn't lose us those games.
But I also question whether at this point they can win us games either.
Coach Cleary will sort it, and though he might say to the media that it is up to the players, I suspect he has already planned out how it will be and he is just saying what sounds good to the press whilst sorting it how he wants behind the scenes.
I can't see how anyone can blame Farah and/or Marshall for the Tigers current position on the table. As for them not being able to win us games either, I think Benji had a pretty big hand in the wins we earned early in the season as well as when he came back from injury, as did Farah in the couple we won since he re-joined.
NRL games, like just about every team sport, are won on effort, hunger and desire to win from the team, as much as they are on the players. Exactly why we beat top 4 teams with far better rosters than ours, and why we have lost against teams perceived to be of lesser quality.
I don't blame them at all, and I'm glad they are here with us for this year. I question another full year, is all.
