Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yep give Grub the chance this season (2019) and see how he fairs .. if it's an injury riddled season then off to greener pastures for him. I reckon he'll go back to the Dogs or head off to the ESL to earn some good coin before retiring.

Some of you people are in fantasy land. Yeah let's give him another season then if he's injured all the time pack him off to one of the massive queue of suitors that will inevitably be lining up to pay $750k a year to a 30-year-old 5/8 who hasn't been able to get on the park for two and a half years.

I’m not buying the Reynolds rumor either. Nothing wrong with having both Marshall and Reynolds in the squad….Marshall should only be getting circa $250k.

The parra kiwi 2nd rower and Jennings would be handy additions. Maybe just a prop and Quick winger short.

Johnson the imposter - no thanks. Dee, you, Dee….. DUD.

I'll take Reynolds anyday - he is real, an all round player, enthusiastic and a good bloke.

Both the Jennings boys would be ok.

I dont particularly want Reynolds to leave, but if he has an injury riddled season, we will not be able to move him on, no one will want to take him, he will be another McQueen.

IF (big IF) the club is trying to move him on, they may know something that we dont know.

Keep him. We need to set an example and keep to our contracts. Over players breaking their contract or clubs trying to get rid of players.

Michael Jennings could be used as a wrecking ball to demolish the old Balmain Leagues Club - about the only use I can see for him. He is so slow these days and has been bludging in the centres, should have been moved into the forwards years ago BUT he’s too soft now - Parra can keep him.

DT reporting Bennett and Seibold could swap jobs as soon as today.

Bennett on FOX today saying he is coaching Brisbane next year, so Bronco's will have to sack Bennett this afternoon to get this done, otherwise they will have a coach who they don't want

You'd be surprised, he's still pacy. In fact he was the fastest at the club in 2018 over 100m, even faster than French.

Yep. There was a period there where he looked obviously slower, probably due to injury, but he was looking real quick again at the end of the season.

Yeah I don't believe that Jennings has lost much speed at all. It's something that amazes me really considering how long he has been around. Slater is the same, still very quick despite being in his thirties.

What made Michael Jennings look bad last season was playing outside the two biggest ball hogs in he game .. Mitchell Moses and Corey Norman .. !!
