Moses re-signs with eels. $2.5m for 3 years

Good. They can keep the slime.

The club assembled an outstanding array of talent in Woods, Tedesco, Moses and Brooks. When you look back on it, we were naïve to believe other clubs and player managers would allow one of the less influential clubs to retain players of this calibre on their roster. It is this disassembling of talent at a less influential club which highlights the disparity between the haves and the have nots.

@gallagher Pascoe is not a dud.

Tell me in which aspect have we improved over him?

The club made a profit last year.

As I said before. Our fine, remind me who's fault that was, put us back in the red.

Fault. Are you having a laugh? This is the wests tigers mate, no fault here. 20 years and no one is accountable. Why start now

No ones accountable? How many CEOs have we gone through? How many coaches? How about player turnover?

People need to stop with this accountability nonsense. People say it like it’s a stand alone solution. It’s not. Accountability in the NRL is all but impossible. Squads and salary caps decisions span multiple leaders. Off field fighting disrupts multiple teams. Other clubs destroyed lots of great work. Injuries and two wives being home sick changed the entire course of our club.

The issues facing our club are hugely complex.

Politics is where you go to say and hear simple answers. Here at our beloved Wests Tigers THERE ARE NO SIMPLE ANSWERS

@Tweed_Tiger He’s usual rubbish game.

I thought he played alright, he had Gower at 6 and Smith at 1, he was there only attack. I think it is hate clouding judgement.
1 line break assist, 2 tackle breaks, 2 try assists, he went ok

The Flanagans are on the move. Kyle is set to join the Roosters before the June 30 transfer deadline while Shane is being sounded out to replace Dean Pay at the Bulldogs - DT

Wow, that roosters cap is a beauty, we can’t field an NRL standard team, yet they can field an international team and still buy mid season

@851 Yet when we speak up about how the NRL is such a rort we get shut down and the NRL turn a blind eye.. JOKE ... I have said for years now the NRL should be the ones paying the players and controlling the cap and no TPA or they should be capped properly. In the Rooster top 30 squad they have 16 Rep players and still have room to buy other quality players... Seems fair to me :flushed:

What are the chances of pasting the article?

OUT: Panthers release DWZ
BIFF: NRL hands down sanctions for brawl
Struggling Penrith are undergoing a major roster overhaul which could result in Tyrone Peachey returning home and boom centre Waqa Blake being offloaded to the Parramatta Eels.
The Sunday Telegraph can reveal coach Ivan Cleary is prepared to release Blake, front-rower Reagan Campbell-Gillard and young forward Jack Hetherington after a poor start to the season.
The Panthers last week offered the injured Blake to the Gold Coast in a swap deal with Peachey, who wants out from the Titans for personal reasons.

Instead Blake wants to join Parramatta, who are still $500,000 under the salary cap this year.
Titans performance boss, Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga, says he will consider granting Peachey a release.

“Family always comes before football,” Meninga said last night.
“There is a strong interest from Penrith so he has to decide what he wants to do. He hasn’t asked for a release. It has been instigated by Penrith.
“You have to be compassionate. Tyrone is a quality player and person and we will offer him every respect. He is torn. He wants to fulfil his contract but there’s a few personal issues to sort through.”

Penrith’s decision to release Kiwi star Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is the beginning of a Panthers fire sale at the foot of the mountains.
Former general manager Phil Gould signed Blake to a four-year contract extension in October.
That he is now being offered a release show how far Gould’s opinions varied from Cleary on recruitment and why he walked out on the club.
Meanwhile Watene-Zelezniac is on the verge of signing at the Wests Tigers. The deal has been slightly delayed because a contract cannot be registered until coach Michael Maguire releases a player.

The Eels made the move for Blake knowing they had missed out on Watene-Zelezniak.
Blake is out with a knee injury until round 20 at the earliest but would join the Eels before June 30 and be available later in the season.
The decision to allow Campbell Gillard to look elsewhere will shock Penrith fans.
He has played for NSW and Australia in recent years and is regarded as one of the best front-rowers in the game.

I’d take RCG above DWZ. I’m a fan of both but we are more deficient up front.

His current worst form is still better than most of our props.
