Simpkins is too young
Walters is a 5/8
Brittain is a quality player who was behind the NSW number 9

All bargain basement and Simpkins is on development contract. Cant see any problems there.

I read that Brittain had signed with the Bulldogs (from Souths) and Walters was signing with us.

So Walters and Marshall signing announcements on foxtel but not on the clubs official page. They've just completely stopped talking to the fans havnt they.

with the team training up until grand final week, the team is still in 2019. you'd think we'll hear a lot in terms of who's coming and going the week after grand final.

I would have thought you'd announce a resigning to your members before Matt Johns.

Agreed, though I expect it is part of his remuneration package in allowing for external income. Such an announcement works well for future ratings and appearance fees.

Very happy benji has signed on for another year...genuinely loves the club....never Carrys on like a sook, has never done the wrong thing by the club, like some other grub is doing at the moment.....thanks benji have a great final year

Like getting peed off with the club about wanting more money, then signing with Auckland Blues whilst still under contract at the tigers. Then parading around in their jersey, then finding out he wasn’t worth what he thought he was, yeh Benji has always had the clubs best interest at heart

@Spacecub by his own admission he'd become complacent and was no longer hungry. He played terribly in 2012 and 2013. Even when he returned to the Dragons most thought he was done. It wasn't all the coach's doing, not even close.

He works for us too apparently but his media career comes first. At the very least the.club should have had an announcement on the re-signing up at the same time.

I would think this was done in consultation with the club! For some reason the club is trying to stay out of the media atm! A club legend announcing his resigning and not even in club colours is very weird to say the least.
