Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Canberra Milford would be great.

The bloke who has played for the Broncs the past few years would be great also...once every six weeks.

And not do much at all the other 5.

What position did he play for Canberra.

What position did he mostly play for Broncos.

@The_Patriot mostly fullback at Canberra at Brisbane he transitioned to no 6 but in the last part of this season he was used as a ball playing fullback.

Benji has played with Milford in the past. If he recommends him and knows that he can work hard it's a yes from me.

Benji ripped his training habits when he was at the Broncos publicly I remember.

And imo he is a fullback. Not a great ball playing fullback but an upgrade on what we have.

Played 1 for Raiders.

Mainly six for Broncs until this season. Played one in 2019, but def did not do much (behind a monster pack / several players running for 150 a week and tackle breaks everywhere).

If he could not shine behind the Broncs monsters like TPJ, Fififta and Haas...how would he go behind Elijah Taylor and Huth?

If a player like Milford wants to come here, you'd be nuts to say no. He's got the x factor we desperately need.

As others have said, I agree that he is best at fullback.

Milford must be media BS.
Doesn't sound like a Madge signing, particularly after saying we need to be smart about who we bring in and that we are looking at front rowers and centres.

Probably just his manager trying to get a better deal.

Or WT letting another player that they are keen on know that there are alternatives?

After the goings on at Wests Tigers this week it seems players from other clubs are falling over each for an offer from the club.

Milford at fullback for the Raiders scored 12 tries, 12 try assists and 2400 running metres. Fullbacks were not as dominant back then also. I would prefer Brimson he’s young, should be cheaper and has huge upside. Milford carries way more risk but if Broncos cover and we pay 500/550 max he is well worth it for 2 years.

Absolutely he’s an enormous upgrade on what we have and he’s only young. If we can get the Broncos to pay part of the freight we’re laughing.

@happy_tiger hahaha so true. I reckon it’s the ones out of the media we have to think about. IMHO the club set some standards with managers.

I reckon Madge scares them
