I have a feeling that both Smith and McIntyre are on borrowed time unless they can produce outstanding improvement during pre season trials. If we can clear more cap space before 2020 kick off OR some of our new players trialing show they are worthy of a top 30 contract ...... then I’m afraid, they may be in a gun.

Chad Townsend comes off Cronulla contract end of 2020. Thoughts on making him an offer and shifting Brooks to 5/8 for 2021 to cover Marshall's retirement? Townsend is an organiser and Brooks is a runner.

I wouldn't be opposed to something like that, but wouldn't want to pay overs.
I'm also sure that Madge won't.

The bunnies have recruited well this offseason. Latrell is a done deal to Souths my source has just confirmed that. Semi is very close to finalising a deal with them and arrow has also accepted a contract with them too they are unsure on when he will
start there 2020-2021 they are working it out with the tits. I hate to say but the bunnies will have a strong team
next year. The rivalry will be as strong as ever.

Gagai is also gone, they are offering him around with the tigers more then likely to pounce.

@WT2K you have an un named source saying The bunnies are making a modern day superteam and then a real source in latrells manager saying meetings will take place this week. Highly doubt the tigers pursuit would be so vocal in so many ways if he’s a done deal at Souths. Also there’s no way Semi will be there next season.

@2005magic hear this term a lot, Brooks is not a 5/8, running the ball into the defensive line does not make you a 5/8, brooks lacks the finesse to become a 5/8, look at guys like benji, milf in prime, keary, Maloney....they all have terrific passing on the run ability and amazing short kicking games, which again brooks lacks, don’t get me wrong I love brooks, buts he’s a halfback, he’s ball playing ability is avg. he’s a terrific kicking half like a Townsend, Cronk etc but nowhere near as good on short sides running the ball and selecting either the winger, centre of fullback to pass too in order to cross the line...brooks is the guy who must control the majority of kicking and sitting in the middle of the field conducting the plays, not the type of player to take that short side with our fb, if you don’t rate brooks at 7, then there’s no place him in your selected squad imo
