Momo was a revelation at centre last year, and if you can believe Benji, Talau is the most exciting player at the club. Mbye is also strong at centre, so why do we need a centre as a priority?

1. LM will be at Tigers training come 6th Jan (think you claimed JAC too)
2. LM will not be at Souths
3. Souths can't fit LM in without offloading one/both of Gagai and AJ

But when you listen to current WT players talk about Madge its really positive and encouraging, it's a pity that there are players out there that have another perception. I would be really confident that Madge and the recruiting Team will identify the needs to strengthen the current roster. Whilst some young talent may never reach the level required to be a fulltime First grader, the more good talent they recruit, will identify great future talent, the Broncos are any example of this, having at least 500 juniors identified on their books. Hoping that we have a great year, and looking forward to seeing the development of Talau, Mikalae. Momo and Garner 🙂

It’s not a bad thing though ! It really means that you can’t come to the tigers and Braith Anasta it anymore. Otherwise you’re pulling on a west’s jersey and playing at 12pm Sunday’s against Newtown .
So instantly if you have a players interest , you’re by-passing a portion of the bad attitude , part of the evaluation process.
Thus creating a culture, of hard work , and eventually , hopefully , success.
What’s more promising , is a truck load of the best junior talent has signed here . Which means , they want to work , are ambitious , and confident of their own abilities.
The kids 16-19 are vastly different than the ones 21-25 . They are very aware of how hard they have it . Just take a look at social media . They basically can’t buy a home , and where they can there’s zero jobs . And the youth unemployment rate is growing .
You can call that controversial, but I don’t think it is .

The thing is we don't really know what players think. It's all just rumours.

Maybe a few folks actually know real players and know what those real players think, but it's hardly representative of all players.

Absolutely agree - Packer soon found out. Can't wait to see if he has adopted I'll show him attitude this year and earns his healthy salary where he should be in FG.

In his defence it was later reported the Latrell had agreed to come to the Tigers but ended up getting talked out of it (by his 'advisors' letting him flush hundreds of thousands of dollars down the toilet).
Regards Souths fitting him in?
Plenty of smoke and mirrors going on there ... I still think they'll shed a few players.
Makes you wonder why blokes want to play under Bennett... all the horsecrap about being a 'players coach' and 'caring about their welfare' - as he punts them.

I think Bennett has actually lost it . It’s also not an uncommon theory in League circles.

Interesting to see what happens if their (Souths) 2020 replicates the previous season... it’s all feeling very Newcastle circa ‘13/14

Wayne is trying to buy a premiership. It’s day has past him. Still a Good coach. But he needs elite talent to be successful these days. If brad Arthur or say a flanagan had the Souths roster they would be a lot better served

No. He may come good given he was coming off an injury last year and seemed to improve as the season went on, but he hasn't impressed me as a great prospect as yet. I wouldn't be throwing huge money at him that's for sure.

He’s also super tall and skinny...we already have one of those in momo...we need pace
