This is a pretty clever idea by the Titans, and in hindsight we should have done the same with the big 4. They’ve got an offer on the table for him, and if doesn’t want to take it, better for them that he rejects it now, then halfway through next season when they have no one to replace him with. If only we’d thought of it.

Arrow is great but I don't reckon backrow is our biggest need. Among the forwards it's gotta be a big aggressive front rower first for mine if we have big money to throw at someone, that and a quality centre, top two priorities for mine

I think Matto running an edge is better value, it is just we don’t have anyone good enough to play lock well. Arrow would fill that void, and our back rowers would be all just about 80 minute players.

Yeah, with our middle forward stocks on life support, it is likely, despite his usefulness there, that Ryan is only playing in the center out of necessity.

Gold Coast already offered him 750k/year for 4 years and he's publicly stated he wants to stay. He's probably trying to drive his price up there. Any rival offers are gonna have to be 800-850k+ to make him consider leaving. The Warriors are gonna offer him 1m for sure. They are cashed up and desperately need a player like him.

Russell Packer and Josh Reynolds are still contracted in 2021, so unless we offload one of them, there's no way we could afford any good player's asking price. Thanks Ivan Cleary.
