He didn't play in the first game and he was far from our worst in the second.
He's potentially one of the better centres in the competition IMO, and that we're not seeing more from him is a big reason as to why I question JT

Potentially - I am one of the best centres in the comp also….
(I haven't played since U12's)

Realistically, He's not in the top 15...

LOVETT 1ST, then rankin then littlejohn. but we cant afford to lose a centre we are thin bare in that department. but surely we cannot be over the cap, we have 5-7 really good players who could be on great money the rest are best suited to NSW CUP football. so after all the crap that came out of M/S GOs mouth, how we would feel the pain for the next two years ( that been 2 years ago ) here we are still under cap pressure, I have a feeling we will never be under the cap.

I remember him being almost offended clubs were after him, And he wanted him hard.
So I'm not at all surprised...

People on this forum never seem to get how shopping a player works!! You need two things to happen, 1 you need another club or clubs to be interested in signing your player and you need your player to be interested in moving.

So I guess that is why Simona is being shopped. Personally I think it is madness we are very thin on outside backs he might be the only one we are willing to release that another club wants. He has had a lot of leg problems in recent times so maybe the club may think he is worth releasing.

Anyway as I always say you can only shop a player around that is in demand and the more demand the less of his contract you may have to top up

Wouldn't believe this for a minute. Our squad is EXTREMELY forward heavy. We already have practically no depth in the outside backs at all. We have no one in NSW Cup remotely pushing for first grade (at least on paper based on last year). If we had gun centres coming through maybe you'd look to flick him but Suli has only played a handful of NYC games.

In the grand scheme of things, maybe it's something to do with freeing up space for Moses & Teddy? personally I think he's pretty replaceable, not a world beater by any chance…just a valuable club member

I don't see how they'd be making room for Tedesco and Moses, he's not contracted next yr. Would have zero to do with it. The thought of Simona leaving and Kev staying after the way he defended last yr boggles the mind.

There are people who have been employed there over the past decade who don't know much about the contract situations at the Tigers either.

Seriously it is late January and trials start soon. Surely they have done the sums by now on the cap for this year.

I thought he was a massive disappointment last year. If he went, it wouldnt bother me at all. On the field I dont think we'd be worse off, but financially we'd be better off. For a team that supposedly was a decent point scoring team, i dont recall him crossing the stripe too much. And lets face it, defensively we were terrible everywhwere.

I thought you couldn't register a contract with the nrl unless you were under the cap. How then was Idris signed?
