So…where to from here? 🤔

Brooks and No'idea are the 2 constants that need to be punted 5 years ago. Tupou is in the wings and is already a better player than Nof. Why the wait to punt him? Wakeham too is already a better player in just 1 trial game then Brooks has been in 10 years. Surely after 0-2 start against the easier teams replacing both can not hurt anything. The season is already over anyway, guaranteed to be over if Brooks continues to play.
 
The emotion of a terrible loss may guiding me here, but I feel like wholesale changes are required. Today should have been a comfortable win, but we looked terrible. I think big changes are in order. If for no other reason than to make the players uncomfortable and work hard for their spot.

It’s not an emotional loss.
We have done no winning for ages.
Sheens promised attacking footy and we are scoring less points than last year despite having better forwards in the pack.

If we don’t change soon then things will get even worse than they are.

Doing the same thing over expecting a different result is a sign of insanity. Laurie, AD and Brooks all should be moved on.

Yes, it is too much.

The board and club don’t give a shit about the fans, and definitely don’t want to hear their opinions.

Certain board members seem to actively despise the fan base.

Just keep your money flowing to the club via merch/memberships/ticket sales and shut up, thanks.

I never said it was an emotional loss. That aside, I dont have Brooks in my 17 for next week. I have never been a Brooks basher, but today was there to be won and he should have been the one to step up. I think wakeham is showing much more and deserves a cracking.

Doueihi was awful today, but was one of our better player last week. I think has something to offer, but not in the halves. Laurie in the same boat. He tries hard and has plenty to offer, but FB is not his position.

That all being said, I wouldn't describe my team as "more of the same thing".

Mate I have to say that while we are trying to get this team to win,maybe Sheens should have the balls to tell AD go to centre,Staines to FB,Laurie to 5/8 and put anyone on the wing who can play much better than Noffa did today...put someone on the wing in Stains spot and we win games...
 
I’m not saying that this will happen ….. but there are a lot of examples in history of team sport where new coaching staff and new playing group start their season as an absolute train wreck.

And then things somehow slowly but surely start to gel and confidence brings success.

No it may not happen to a jink club like WT but if you cast your mind back to 2005 …….

Its also good to remember that teams that start their new season fast out of blocks, are very often running out of puff about mid to end of it.

Anyone saying Brooks had a good game needs their eyes checked.

For a HALF BACK - he touched the ball maybe once in the first fifteen minutes of the game and the first fifteen minutes of the second half.

He played ok for the last ten minutes.

For the rest of the game when he did touch the ball which was very little he created zero chances even though we had a man overlap for most part. He dropped the ball. He ran like a headless chook.

AD - the ONLY thing he can do is run.

Both halves have no onfield voice

We need a strong half back like hastings and then and only then AD can work at 6… otherwise he needs to go to center and we need New halves.

Brooks needs to go.

He is a black cat around our necks.

He stepped up when it was (sadly) all too late.There were plenty of opportunities to score throughout the game, and he is the one that should be converting these opportunities, if for no other reason than the number on his back.

Lee has actually come out & said this when he said anyone who isn’t a member of the club shouldn’t have an input pretty much. Him & Pascoe are absolute clowns & are 70% to blame for this mess.

I think I know what you're getting at. It's no good being able to set up opportunities without the players to finish them off. Am I on the right track?
