It would be interesting to know how thick the connection is between the delay in Sheens resigning and the cleanout. Is it the case that Sheens refused to resign unless he got the commitment from the Board to 'cleanout' or was it the case that Sheens didn't want the cleanout because of loyalty to the current players but in the end was convinced by the Board about the need to revamp our playing strength, or is there no connection at all, any views??
Put a very similiar question out there last night Cunno . Sheens may have been told that he would only be signed on the basis that the squad had to change . Its only a guess Cunno , but my thinking is if he wanted the squad changed earlier he would of done it far before now . Does that make sense ??
