That’s me as well! SOO has lost most of its excitement for me ,so I honestly don’t care who wins.
I used to love The Blues ,pretty sure I even bout a jersey.
Last year I was genuinely happy when Grant came on and torn NSW up.im a betrayer ? ?

Fittlers ego just craps me.

Thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread...I genuinely cared about origin and wanted us to win before him but ever since he came on board I just couldn’t care any less lol

I have a late finish at work tomorrow anyways so will miss most of the game

I'm just hoping SOO really hits the panthers hard and they go on a slide. Its happened before and with 6 players in SOO the pressure of backing up might hurt a few of the necomers.

Its interesting the lack of interest on here. i'm pretty much in the same boat - will watch it but not with the passion i used to. Saw an interesting article on a Surf club on the NSW north coast who have been showing SOO as a ticketed night for its members - food and grog in the price i guess. They cancelled it this year for the first time due to a lack of interest from the members.

Interesting to hear so many on here are indifferent about the origin result. Growing up it was the only time I would support a team as passionately as I do the Tigers, the Blues that is. It still means a lot to see NSW win after the 8 series Qld streak but maybe not quite what it used to be. Can I ask what has changed for people? Is it the lack of biff?

QLDs dominant team and spine made up primarily from an illegally assembled Storm squad, using those combos and close knowledge of how they play didn't go down well with me... I still.watch it and still watch NRL.. just.not as often and with as.much interest
Level playing fields of the past have disappeared... This year's no different there

Origin, as all games is won in the forwards. The engine room is where it's won. The tigers engine room improves , so do the halves and backs, it's not rocket science.

Everyone is talking Turbo, Cleary, Lui etc, but Teddy who has been injured and in a badly depleted side, will show why he is the best player in the game. If the forwards match them the backs are too classy. PS - I don't think Freddy is a coach worthy of this position. Go the mighty blues!
