I’m not that fussed to be honest mate who wins ..

It’s hard to cheer for Freddy, the Penrith connection or the endless, inflated buildup of the game. Add to that latrine and you have The Who’s who of rugba leeg douches.

Can’t cheer for Qld. Players seem better blokes but it’s Qld.

I’ll just hope for chaos and extended suspensions for a lot of players that somehow assists wests.

I always record origin .
Start watching 10 mins behind live to skip all the BS intro and the half time crap then watch then second half live then turn off at full time .
It’s not the same as years gone by ..

Qld will try playing up the middle and blues will spread the ball wide at every opportunity. Freddy has chosen a team capable of handling the threat up the middle from Grant, DCE and Munster. Blues by 16.

It used to be state against state, mate against mate. They put that jersey on they forgot who they played for on the weekend. The biff added to the spectacle because it showed the passion. It’s become filtered down over the years. Yes it’s fast but it just misses that fierce rivalry and intensity. I am not saying bring the mid-late 80s back but bring back the gladiatorial contest that it built itself on.
