Scumbags since 1909

1908, it says so on their socks.

It probably also says; "Socks before shoes" somewhere on them.
Does it say on them “didn’t play 2000-2001”

Hold the football and it's an even contest. How many times did we cough up the ball trying to come out of trouble, and give the Rabbits repeated attacking sets inside our half?

Got our share of possession and started to win the arm-wrestle, but too late with only 20 to go. If the match ran another 10-15 minutes I think we had another try our two in us.

My assessment is there has to be a very large turn over of the roster to be a competitive unit week in and out . To finish 9th will be a stretch this season but moving forward into next season going in with a bunch of unknowns doesn’t pan well !

Well it's Madge's final year of his contract and he will be looking for some senior 1st graders on short term deals to Sign and some experience from the younger ones coming through from this year.

Agree about this year it looks like we will struggle to finish 9th with the run home, but sides are experiencing lots of injuries each week and we might start getting a few players back to be more competitive, knowing prior years most likely 9th.

Signing i would consider,

Blake Green
Herbie Farnworth
Nick Cotric
Adam Elliott
Brendan Elliot
Ryley Jacks
Christian Welch
Herman Ese'ese
Francis Molo
Reed Mahoney
Brad Takairangi
Tyrone May
Alex Johnston
Tristan Sailor
Matt Ikuvalu

In saying this some are not realistic however there is playing talent around to also pick up and develop some of our younger players.

Wests Tigers
2021 Gains
Shawn Blore (Penrith Panthers, 2021), Stefano Utoikamanu (Parramatta Eels, 2023)
2021 Losses
Harry Grant (Melbourne Storm), Paul Momirovski, Corey Thompson (Gold Coast Titans)
Re-Signed
Luke Garner (2022), Tommy Talau (2022), Alex Twal (2022)
Off Contract 2020
Oliver Clark, Matthew Eisenhuth, Robert Jennings, Chris Lawrence, Benji Marshall, Sam McIntyre, Chris McQueen, Alex Seyfarth, Dylan Smith, Elijah Taylor

It also does look like we are being more selective with our Signings which can only be a good thing long term.
