Stadium Plan

I happen to like the manual scoreboard at Leichhardt, how is it an embarrassment?
There are plenty of other things that need updating, the scoreboard is part of the character of the stadium.
I agree there's plenty of things that need upgrading but the scoreboard has to go. I call on Harry T and that imbecilic Wiggle to throw in some of their hard earned to ensure the longevity of this ground.

There are loads of Sporting Grounds that have manual scoreboards for instance Adelaide oval. A scoreboard is there to keep score of a match why should it go, it serves its purpose there’s no point spending money for a new one as it probably won’t add much to the ground it’ll just remove history from Leichhardt.

Much more atmosphere at Leichhardt than Frosty Homebush.

That is certainly true and Leichhardt is my favourite football ground by far however if we ever do become a succesful team neither LO or CO will be large enough for our homegames and Homebush would be the only field where most of our supporter base would not feel an interloper

You can combine a huge video screen into a new scoreboard. Kill two birds with one stone. Give the original to the powerhouse museum.
Again I stress, people want value when parting with their money these days. Back when it was $5 or $10 to get in maybe the scoreboard would suffice. Not when your paying over $40 and not even get a comfortable seat.

You have to give Pascoe some credit here begrudgingly. He has stated for quite a few times that reducing the amount of home venues was his desire. He has obviously been trying to drum up government support only to be knocked back at the last minute a few times.

Stating this is the plan and will be doing it with private investors you would assume he already has the money to do it - but open up to more should they come out of the wood work.

Side note, I’d love to see the manual scoreboard stay - absolute roar of the crowd waiting for 60 to be put up. Won’t get that with a digital score card. Self service check outs, barcode menus and “online” whiskey tastings can also see the bin.

This is another bad move. I thought most home games next year were going to be at Campbelltown?? Why 5 at Leichhardt? Unless they are not going to upgrade it so it needs to go. Manual scoreboards are an embarrassment. Play trials there.

Our future is in the South West. Campbelltown is getting an upgrade (be it small). Its 2023 and we need to get with the times. If we start winning games Campbelltown will sell out every week.

Pfffft. What a foolish & divisive take to have lol

smart move, from the allocation of games to private investment. the inroads we've made at Tamworth are worth persisting with and the game at Magic Round gives us additional revenue. both grounds are in need of upgrades, and private investment will ensure we get it as opposed to holding our for state and federal government support which has eluded us in the past.

this is another step forward in terms of getting back to our DNA and identity.

I personally think Leichhardt and Campbelltown will be enough to hold our fan base if we are successful It will feel cauldron like to have 20k fans piling in. I also don’t feel the demand will be high enough for us to play in bigger stadiums. Having a blanket spread of fans will mean some won’t come to Leichhardt and others won’t come to Campbelltown hence the reason why these 2 grounds are a really good fit for our club

well said some just get a CSS membership others LO membership and some dual membership.
Makes sense we cover all areas.
we now need to push forward and get another Leagues club up and running at Rozelle

Wish it would come sooner it’ll bring in loads more members with a really good way to help pour money into our club and to help with upgrades of Leichhardt oval

I'm in my 30's you joker. We're a joint venture
the last time I checked. Splitting games gives
both sides of the merger a chance to watch the
club play. NSW cup team should be rebranded 2
If you're 30 you should know better. We are one club. We don't need to split anything. I'm thinking of our future. Inner Sydney isn't it.
