My prediction is simple. I dont care who is playing or in what position. We have talent to upset a few sides.
It will come down to leadership - again. Do we have ANYONE in the team that will stand there and hold players accountable, look them in the eye and tell them to lift their ******* game or **** off.
If someone provides that leadership, we go well. If not, we flop. Hastings maybe.
The one thing I know is that regardless of the results, Madge will probably get flicked, which is typical of football clubs. It s a joke to think you replace the coach and suddenly the teams fires and become instant Top 8. It doesnt happen. You may get a few wins after the change, but players revert back to who they are before long and the new coach is just the same.
Until players take accountability, then nothing will change. And you cant blame the coach in this instance because he 'has the team he wanted'. Simply, with limited money, poor club reputation, ego's, I bet Madge isnt even close to what he wanted.
