No point playing him if he is injured. He was a liability last year trying to push through injuries, getting injured mid-game, then causing chaotic backline reshuffles. We have enough depth to cover him, there is no rush in getting him back.

No there’s not HB#1Fan, it’s just that he is continually injured, and therefore imo, a liability. And his consistency is variable, he can play a good game but they are so few and far between we can live without him.

If Star regains fitness (and can side step empty water bottles) he is a shoe-in back to centre with The Mak back to the wing.

I am not sure Big mac has the defensive experience to play centre at NRL level. Id be leaving him on the wing and bringing in Herbert. However i have a feeling Benj may play Mac at centre and lukeL on the wing as mentioned.

I would have said the same thing - look like Makasini to play left centre!

Think Makasini should have more time on the wing but injuries will probably dictate that he plays centre sooner than is really ideal.

Makasini has a Lattrell like in and away for flick . He was contained well on the weekend, and the reason everyone around him had a field day .
If the bunnies do the same it will be history repeating . My guess is they’ll focus on luai and Samuela .. I can see Makasini giving Sullivan and his edge back rower fits . Is it Duncan ? Mate Samuela would be licking his lips at the prospect of Sullivan . And if wighton feels the need to protect and jam , Makasini is going to get Luke L his steps in that’s for sure . Masi is elite centre materiel . He’s much more than a Lomu battering ram .

Yea he’s on the bench . Humphries to 7. Im really confident we can get these guys through the middle of the field . And Aitken is rocks and diamonds defensively . I can see Skelton putting latrelll and himself in hospital with one of his kamikaze tackles .
If LM has one Achilles heel it’s a good whack can completely get him to check out of games . Then he either goes super quiet , or starts with the ill disciplined shit. I just hope Skelton picks his moments .
