Starford who

do tell, your secrets are safe here .LOL, What decade L T
Back in the day the original Bondi Hotel had the largest TV screen in Australia. Used it for the Disco evenings. I came along and turned it into a 7 Night a week Nightclub. Saturday Nights we promoted Hey Hey it's Saturday LIVE to get the crowds in. Then we'd run Comedy and bands - our licence was until 3.00am. I met Gretel Killen who was a rare female stand up back then, and fell in Love but she didn't know it, cos I was shy. We had Bob Hudson on one night who sang the Newcastle Song - he hadn't performed for many years and the audience was bored after three laps of Hunter Street. I had to pass him a note to get him off! Favourite Act Marty Coffee the cat juggling chainsaw magician. I have many fond memories of avoiding being shot, bashed and deceased on many occasions. Our business was called Comedy Relief and it was, once I retired. 🤪 🤪 🤪

My mate Duncan from the Town and Country said as much. I actually, made a record many years ago when I worked at The Courthouse Hotel in Australia Street Newtown. My band was Terry Toweliing and The Sing-lettes. Most of my memories of those days are diminishing like the evening I came back from the Easter Monday footy at the SCG and (I lived in the Pub) I arrived around 6.30pm. The off duty coppers from Newtown would have a beer and I said I was gonna go down to Ron Coote's Maccas which was around the Corner. One of the sergeants gave me his badge and told me to flash it so I'd get the order for free. So off I went. But when I arrived the shop was closing. I was wearing a black leather jacket, leather gloves and jeans and looked tough. I then flashed the badge and said "I've just knocked off, any chance of a feed?" the staff member said "Sorry we're closed but we just sent heaps up to The Station" I said thanks and toddled off. Now, don't get me started on smashing plates at The Mykinos Club!

Back when Sydney had some crazy nightlife... to see it return to live music and wild nights again someday... I mean Melb brags now but had them well covered.
Star did a solid days work and what a result for us, stoked!

Not a Starford hater, but I will be sold when he does that more often
Yep he has one good game and many poor games , last good solid game was when he gave Val Homes a lesson in footy , Last year , but they all ned to play good week in week out to plays finals , comp will be close so every point counts , round one loss could hurt us at season end ,, we don’t need anymore of those

Where have all the Toa haters gone.

lets not engrave the Dally M with his name just yet

that’s his second good game since he has been here …also the other one was another one sided affair like this one…hope he isn’t a down hill skier and that he can be a difference maker in some tighter games ahead …. We need him to be good as they are extremely thin at the position

Pl

Plays one good game. Give him a ten year 1 mill contract. Haters hate after 20 games of mediocrity. Lovers love after one game of decent play.

Fair dinkum.

Yeah but it's his potential, it's always been there, so I think he should be given some time and opportunities, not to be bagged

Toa was a gun junior - I thought Knights were crazy for letting him go, but then a couple of years of playing in a bad team, plus injuries and we thought he wasn’t very good.
He just needed better halves, some other threats around him and an injury free run - Im pretty confident with that he’ll be the strike centre we need.
