Do Forum Members still think Maquire would still use Reynolds and/or Packer if they warranted selection in pre season training. I know both have had injury issues.

Most Forum's benches look rather inexperienced in my opinion. Is Stefano who has had limited NRL experience better than an uninjured Packer for instsance?

I am sure he would. Packer at his best is quite confronting and would suit Madge style of play.

The issue with Packer is no consistency. He'll come out one week and look fantastic and everyone will be singing his praises. Then for the subsequent few games he runs about 20m a game and doesn't get involved. I'd rather give a go to someone who has a dig.

Contract year isn’t it for him? Not that I’d resign him, but he might actually give it a crack this year because of that

I wouldn't be surprised to see Packer and Reynolds both retire. Very hard to imagine either of them getting offered a contract.

Either that or some super league club will offer them stupid money. And they may aswell take it. Footy players have short careers...why not make the most of it

I think Russell's past might prevent him from getting a visa in the UK. And I think Reynolds massive bank balance and interest in property development might keep him here.

Neither will be considered for FG unless injuries dictate otherwise.

If Packer does well enough he’ll get a spot in first grade. Just don’t see him playing well enough to be there consistently maybe a game here or there depending on injuries. His work rate just isn’t good enough

He's only there for the paycheck. Will do the bare minimum and play the season out in reggies.

Reynolds and Packer have heaps to gain about performing well this season so hope they both contribute this season as they both bring experience. Laurie won't be released from Penrith as he is only on a development contract and may be needed after round 16.
Let's get Joe and Sirro signed on and let Joshua play for Manly after we get Sirro or another second rower.

Same. I think thats the best. I'd start Jimmy straight away as a psychological tactic for him, spend all off season building the vibe, making him feel good. Psychology matters =p Don't make him feel like a pleb. AD looked like our best half option from that last game alone. We don't have a genuine fullback but MBYE is OK there. Shame we don't have a lock either.

I think we should go for Curtis swap, while he isn't the best in the comp he would be one of our best 2nd rowers easy. Make a more balanced team.

I expect a very experienced squad for the first half the of the year. Remember that people like Stefano wouldn't have played a game for over a year and a half. I expect the younger ones to start with NSW Cup.
