State of Origin 2025

Swear nsw try there absolute best to not pick anyone from the tigers like how desperate they are to pick anyone but may is quite funny and how api keeps on getting snubbed as well doesn't get talked about enough first they were picking a washed cook over him now they picking a defensive hooker over him api is second best hooker in the game he should be playing origin

Terrell can feel dudded.

Honestly, I feel like a message is being sent to T May and Luai. Trying to get them to agitate for a release in club land. A lot of people with agendas involved.

What the actual frigamadoodle is this side. Only 5 players in the 17 are in a team in the top 8. So much for picking off form!!!!

Edwards I swear has been so off-form this season while Teddy and Paps have absolutely killed it.

Not sure what Cleary has done either but he’s Nathan Cleary so he just gets picked I guess.

Not sure what’s happening in the second row either. I swear Crichton and Martin haven’t been particularly good while Young and Olakau’atu have been outstanding.

And don’t even get me started on Max King and Softano UF-offamanu instead of May.

I actually had to look King up and did not recognize him whatsoever. Somehow he has played 126 games as well.

Oh well, I guess I’m in a win-win situation for Origin one. Where if we win then I’m happy because I go for NSW and if we lose I can vent all my frustrations out here about how silly Laurie Daley is.

Just hope Queensland pick heaps of Cowboys players (Dearden, Nanai, Taulagi) as well.

Good team tbh

King deserves his shot for sure. Quite a small pack though and Haas is apparently injured. Stefano over May is BS though.

im backing Daley and his team of pretty boys to win the series ,whether i like it or not - ba hum bug

WESTPAC NSW BLUES SQUAD

1. Dylan Edwards (Penrith Panthers)
2. Brian To’o (Penrith Panthers)
3. Stephen Crichton (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
4. Latrell Mitchell (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
5. Zac Lomax (Parramatta Eels)
6. Mitchell Moses (Parramatta Eels)
7. Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers)
8. Mitchell Barnett (Warriors)
9. Reece Robson (North Queensland Cowboys)
10. Payne Haas (Brisbane Broncos)
11. Liam Martin (Penrith Panthers)
12. Angus Crichton (Sydney Roosters)
13. Isaah Yeo (c) (Penrith Panthers)
14. Connor Watson (Sydney Roosters)
15. Spencer Leniu (Sydney Roosters)
16. Hudson Young (Canberra Raiders)
17. Max King (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
18. Campbell Graham (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
19. Stefano Utoikamanu (Melbourne Storm)
20. Haumole Olakau’atu (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)

No one is really talking about Luai missing out. Being the partner in crime with Cleary and winning 4 x GFS with Cleary, winning state of origin last year, still couldn't get him selected.

There are just too many wrong picks. And I’m not just talking about Tigers omissions.
Papenhuyzen would have elevated the team.

Edwards is a particularly bad pick. I don’t get the love for him. Teddy, Pap, Turbo are all much better.

Api is the best 9 in NSW hands down.

May’s form easily earned him a bench spot. And Stefano gets 18th man? Does Daley even watch the games???

Turuva is better than Lomax this year and it ain’t close.
No Luai really lowers the stature of this team. Dumb not to pick him.
Connor Watson. He’s ok, but give me a break for chrissake.

It’s a poorly selected side based upon the level of talent that is missing out and the fact their form is far greater than those picked.

That said, this NSW side should have little trouble against QLD this series. QLD is injury hit and form is just awful. If you look over the past 3 rounds, the four QLD sides have returned 2 wins and a draw from 12 games played. If you add Melbourne as a surrogate QLD side, they aren’t fairing much better, only winning 1 from 3. Not looking good….

He does not deserve to be selected. Has been ordinary for the Tigers apart from trying to change the culture of the club.

Thats when they are the greatest danger. The underdog tag!
