This young fella is a monster. Makes me feel rather chipper to hear our club poaching top young talent from other clubs. If we have indeed got him for 2021 and he was on a development contract at the Eels it would be hard to see them wanting to keep him in 2020 when they could give the development spot to someone else that won’t be leaving them. Up the Tigers!

Curious. If we’ve signed him to a 3 year contract from 2021, but we get him a year early in 2020, does that become a 4 year contract?

Would assume that if the first contract for 21, 22 and 23 is lodged, then a separate single year one for 2020 would also be lodged if released and signed.

At a guess, I'd say he'll be with us for 2020. Obviously eels can keep him around and play in the lower grades, by doing so, takes up one of their development contract spots for someone who won't be there the following year

100% exactly what we need signing. He makes 100m a game and hits the ball up at great speed and with youth on his side will only get bigger.

I’m actually really excited at how Madge is building our team to last.

We just need 2-3 top flight players to round out these kids and we will be in a great position
