It was an absolute bell ringer , I can see it in my head when I think about it , Simon was a very very good solid athlete and footy player , it’s was a shame how it ended for him he would have played for his country no doubt

He wants to stay...he wants to drop the "get out =no finals" clause
He also has aspiratioins for team captain and he is going the right way about it.
There’s 2 areas he needs to improve to step up for us- first is lift his aggression with every run, and in D as well.
The second is work rate. He doesn’t get involved enough - compared to the best props his work rate is low. I’d rather see him play 20 mins of hard mongrel footy per half and slowly build on that.
He’s definitely got the goods - he needs to fire up, maybe feed him some raw meat before each game!
