Sticky Stuart to Coach Tigers in 2011!?!?

LOL re-evaluated? are you sure YOU arent a member of the WT board? he should of been given his marching orders last year and what do we do after 5 rounds this year? give him another year when hes proven nothing ON the field, whats the point of all this junior program stuff if it doesnt lead to succsess on the field?

and i just love your theory on his tenure at the cowboys and the tigers, and you know what chris…its BS, sheens has had his way here for 8 years now and since winning the premiership in 05 hes got everything hes wanted and more and still NO results ON the field, i just love how you want to make excuses for sheens for 1/3rd of his coaching career and only want point out his successful years, a true measure of someone is how they cope through adversity and failure and like ive said we have all seen sheens record for his last 12 seasons, 6 of those hes had a pretty darn good team at his disposal

Ok let me get this straight. Tim Sheens said if we don't make the semis this year he'll walk and you're still fired up towards him? I said that if we don't make the semis then he should leave his position and you're still fired up towards me? You don't see the point in Tim's junior program and fail to recognize the success of it. Have you seen Andrew Fifita and Simon Dwyer play? Have you seen both of our NSW State Cup sides and NYC side? They don't excite you about our future? Thank the good God above that the only say you have is on these forums and not in the running of this club. You say that Stephen Humphries is a disease to this club? I think I'll send you a mirror someday buddy.
 
I wouldn't worry about Ron there Chris.

He needs the attention in his life so he will keep repeating the same points varied to respond to any post.

out of curiosity, what a coaches on these days?

You'd have to think it would be a several hundred thousand and any early termination could be costly.
 
I think a Nathan Brown head coach with Fletcher and Jones under him would be an exciting coaching combination moving forward.

I would enjoy being a fly on the wall when Fletcher dealt with the egos of the clubs NRL squad at the very least

One of your best Ron….

Compare the teams and you'll see why Stuart got his results and Tim got his. With the team Stuart had he should have won 3 grandfinals! He was handed a decent team at the sharks and if he was worth anything he would have delivered them a premiership by now yet look where he is???

Being stubborn was my gripe with you but I have past that. Now I'm convinced you're absolutely clueless.

Spot on willow.If he was to coach i would be on the nod by half time most matches.
But i can't believe this rubbish story is growing legs.Sheens will only go if he chooses or at the end 2011.
Stuart is also linked to a different team every week so this story is rubbish.
Me thinks its payback for some telecrap journo getting booted from the sheds
 
It's all about Rothfield's crusade against us and his attempt to get rid of Stuart from his beloved Sharks because Stuart has destroyed the club.

yeah chris and with the team sheens has had for the last 4 years we should of made the finals but we havent…..like i said defend him to the death.....so stuart should have won 3 GFs even though in 2 of those grand finals they werent the favorites? so stuart cant take praise for getting a team 3 grand finals but you can critisize him for not winning them?

you make no sense and again you are applying double standards, you get praised for success and condemmed for failure you talk like sheens has had garbage to work with for his 8 years here but since 04 hes had a pretty good team of players each year and hasnt got the best out of them, atleast when ricky had a good team he got them to perform, thats the big difference mate

I will try and explain it in terms that even you should understand. Ricky Stuart was handed a star studded team to coach that was the best in the comp in the early 2000's. Now anyone should be able to coach a team of the caliber the Roosters were at that time to 3 consecutive premierships. So in essence his tenure at the Roosters was a failure and was shown the door. He then went to the Sharks and was handed a team that was competitive enough to play semi finals football and where is he today??? Apart from Trent Barrett which big named players has he signed? Nobody! Which players has he lost? Kimmorly, De Gois come to mind. What exciting juniors has he got coming through? Nobody!
Where is his state cup side coming? 9th How about his NYC side? 8th! Tells me how good his junior program is.

I'll say this for the last time. I'M NOT DEFENDING TIM SHEENS & HE SHOULD WALK IF WE DONT MAKE THE FINALS! All I'm saying is that I'd rather Tim before Stuart any day of the week.

does not make sense what so ever…
as chris has already pointed out, he is a waste of money
has done nothing at both the roosters and the sharks

why not assign folkes to the task.....?
 
Thanks wt4lyf, it was the simplest way I could explain that Stuart is a walking disaster and shouldn't be allowed to coach in the NRL.
 
LOL like i said sheens inherited that star studded raiders team aswell, again double standards in your posts chris.

my prefered coach is folkes and has been since 08,, but you are critising stuart for the same reasons you praise sheens.

Coaches will come and go - I don't understand people that walk from clubs over employees that will be gone one day. I can understand people not putting their $$$ into the club whilst it is ran in a certain way by certain people but to walk from a club that is going thru a bad phase I can not understand.
